how do you replace the cogs on an odyssey cassette is there a special kind of tool or do you just need a lot of tugging power?

ill post sum pics soon we have just made sum new trails and they wont pak down properly ..... do i need to wait till after it has rained to pak them down because at the minute they are bone dry
