What do you use to weigh your bike? posted on 2006-08-17 13:57:19
I was just wondering because I can't get an accurate reading of mine using a regular scale, because I have to hold it up and it reads anywhere from 22lbs-32lbs because of this. Does anyone have any helpful hints on how to weigh a bike? I don't have access to a hanging scale, which I guess would be the best thing, but I was just wondering. Thanks for your help.

well at the mo im runnin a maxxis holly roller in front 2.20 and a maxxis ringworm in the rear 1.95
Works better than any previous setup I've had, but both of my tires are really worn down now so I'm going to try something else out. Maybe either the Rubens, Animals, or KHEs.

You said that you ride trails and are starting to get into flat, so you are probably better off not getting the guard sprocket unless you start riding street or park and are going to do a lot of sprocket tricks. It wouldn't really be a bad thing to get it, but you wouldn't really be taking advantage of it and you could get something lighter and better looking instead. Just a suggestion.

Looks really comfy. It looks like one of those rubber squishy spiny balls cut open and spread on a seat.

Thanks a lot everyone, I cut the cable and the brakes are perfect. Expect a new bikecheck soon, haha.

Yeah, I have the Park ones, should I remove the cable from the housing first and cut each separately?

I just got my Linear Slic Cable in the mail today and I wanted to cut it. What is the best way to go about doing this? Thanks.

Weird, it's not showing up anymore.

Hmm, that's strange, I just went to check mine and that's all that it said, too. I'll look to see if I can figure it out again.

do "5.save sound"
Re: How do you make your music a ringtone on your cell phone with Verizon? posted on 2006-08-13 19:56:23
It should be the same on all of them with the new menu setup. Were you able to get the bitrate and other rates changed, if so, if you can send the file to your phone through that site it should work.
Re: How do you make your music a ringtone on your cell phone with Verizon? posted on 2006-08-13 19:39:55
If you press menu and left twice, is there a Get It Now menu?
And it needs a bitrate around 16 and a sampling frequency rate of 22050 or below, i used 16000. I was able to do it in the creative mediasource player i was talking about.

I tried the memory card thing before this also and it didn't work. If you do it through the memory card it saves it under the my sounds that you see in the sound settings choose ringtone menu. When you send the picture message it allows you to save it into the vcast sounds menu, which then lets you use it as a ringtone because Verizon only wants u to use stuff that you buy from vcast, so i guess this kind of tricks the phone. And it didn't let me send it to my phone if it was above 16kbps. If you have a Creative sound card and have the creative mediasource player, you can just play the part of the song you want and set it to record in .wav and 16kbps and below 22050 sampling rate, and set it to "What U Hear." That's what I did to convert it.

Sorry dude, I didn't know you wanted to know, too. First, go to https://www.vzwpix.com/login.do and sign up using your phone number and a password that you get by clicking forgot password. The password will then be text messaged to your phone, and then enter it in the site as your temporary password and then make a new one. After this, convert the music file that you want into a .wav file and make it with a bitrate around 16 and a sampling frequency rate of 22050 or below, i did 16000 to be safe. After this, make sure that your file is below 3MBs and I'm not 100% sure but i think it has to be below 30 seconds. When this is done, go to the PIX Place site and upload the file. Drag it from the left into the box on the right and click preview and send at the bottom. Now just enter your number and subject and it will send a message to your phone with the file. Go to the message and press options and save the file as a sound. Then, to go to the file, go to the Vcast main menu and go to my sounds, not your normal my sounds menu and go to the file and press options and click set as ringtone. There you go, I hope it works for you. If you run into any problems just post here. Good luck.

The mexican guy wants the same thing, but instead of africa he wants to go to mexico, so the genie goes pff, and all the mexicans in the US disapear. then he asks the white guy, "what do u want?" the white guys says" so u are telling me that all the spics and niggers are gone?" the genies says" yeah" then the white guy says" oh, then ill just have a coke"

How do you make songs that are dowloaded to your cell phone from you computer into ringtones with Verizon? I can get the songs/mp3s from my computer to the phone, but I can't use them as ringtones. Do I have to use the Vcast ones, or is it possible to make my own?
