[quote="Beky"]lilstar, concentrate on bunnyhops, they are the things you really need for street. It might take ages, it took me a year to get the proper technique instead of the "double wheel" type of hop. So don't lose hope, it comes with time, it will click soon. Also practice manuals, 180s and fakies because they are important too for street. Don't worry about jumping stuff, I hate that kinda thing I'm not into big air tricks, there's plenty of stuff to do on the ground!

Thank You :D

Repainting my bike posted on 2005-07-16 09:30:15

well if you have a friend thats in autobody or even anything that has to do with sand/media blasting, you can so get that done for almost free
all you have to do is buy the a couple bags of sand. (silica of course)

if your tight for cash, go with the paint stripper, its tedious work but will pay off once you see the nakedness of your bike.

To find some decent paint (and if you will be using a spray gun), check out car autobody shops, they always have cans of paint that they may never use again.
wally mart has some awesome cans as well.
I prefer to use car paints and a spray gun, leaves a nice even coat.

i also painted my daughters bike with spraypaint and it came out awesome, its all in how you spray.
make sure to spray left and right at an even pace, if you get orange peel (looks like a peel of an orange) let the paint dry and then wet sand with a fine grit sand papaer
(wet sanding is wetting the paper and sanding your item, make sure it is constantly wet, you can also have someone spray water at the same time as you sanding, that will take away the orange peel look)
if you have a run, i still have a hard time touching up runs in the paint, if your going to fix it try not to butcher, because you'll end up starting over...lol

I HOPE IT SOMEWHAT HELPS *SHRUG*
good luck and show pics
