1. How big is the practice area?
2. How much is a wrist band?

UMMMmmm not to be rude punished76, but if you're able to ride a bmx for 4-8 hours a day you should be working, unless you're being assisted on account of a horrific horrible life scaring event, but even then get on with it. If you don't want to work that's your choice, but you're doing it at the expense of people who bust their asses day in and day out, people like me :x

I can't ride because I'm working, so you're stealing my riding time.

That's a pretty good response, I've written to Santa and got less.

The problems with Africa stem further then Sudan, as I'm sure EVERYONE knows, and genocides are happening else where on that continent, but having problems in your own backyard is no excuse to abandon this place, especially if you're afraid of terrorism. Terrorism only works when it scares you into an abnormal reaction. Standing up after and refusing to let it change you is the right reaction.

Here's my anology: There is enough gold in the oceans of the world to make everyone rich, but the cost of mining it out cost more than the turn out. Any solutions? Share the wealth?

Did someone say Quantum Physics!!!! Let me get my red and white scarf out!

Time does exsist,(if you allow your mind to just go beyond your own "existence" and except the theory of realativity for this arguement) that's why we age. However, the only thought place in the universe where time and matter do NOT exist is in the center of a black hole, or the point of "singularity." A black hole has a gravatational pull so strong that not even light (the fastest phenomena known to man) travelling 186 m/s can escape, if light crosses the "event horizon" it will be bent and sucked in. A black hole shares similar physical properties of a hurricane. The storm itself seen in a infared camera would be the event horizon, and anything in its path is destroyed, or in the case of a black hole, sucked into singularity. The eye of the storm is the singularity, where everything is still...Time travel and gravity, so crazy like that. The gravatational pull is so strong that when it's sucking in dust particles the particles heat up so much that they begin to admit X-Rays. I really shouldn't get started on black holes...

What happens when one black hole collides with another black hole? That's the best question to ask a room full of drunks, because then everyone is a Quantum Physics professor. I love it.

Is Jesus returning? posted on 2005-12-13 09:42:18

Hey Guys,

A few little points to throw your way. First off, AD doesn't stand for "after death", it's actually a latin term; "Anno Domini" meaning "In the year of our Lord Jesus Christ". So Jesus was BORN 2005 years ago.

Secondly, I myself am more of a Skientist believer. It just makes more sense to me than a giant invisable man creating the earth. One time I was hanging out with my friends and a christain preacher type approached us, and on the topic of the lord he said while pointing to the coffee shop behind us, "What would you say if I told you that no one had built that building, and that it was always just there? You would say I'm crazy. So where did we come from." Insinuating that it was the lord. Alright, smart guy, where did the lord come from? If its impossible for things to just exist, then how did the man upstairs materialize? Know what I'm saying? It works both ways.

But let's look at science. Science is based on the atom, based on particles. No one has ever seen a particle, just like the lord. We theorize that they are there, because every experiement ever conducted backs up the theory. I suggest that one day science will succeed in viewing the particle, but what will we see? The answer to the ulimate question? I doubt it. We'll probably see something that's made out of something even smaller. What composes a paricle? And what composes that? How far can we look into science? My answer is that it's just as never ending and as mystical as religion.

So pick your faith, your beliefs, science, christianity, voo doo for all I care, but realize that nothing has been totally proven in ANY belief, so give someone with a different opinion all the respect you'd give someone with the same opinion. Because no one gets the luxury of being right here. No matter how you cut it, it's about love, respect, and empathy.

I like christains for standing by their beliefs even when people tell them to shut up, or that they're stupid, I think it's admirable. I mean, who wants to be peer pressured out of their spirituality. I just don't like christains who don't respect my beliefs and threaten me with hell. To hell with that.

I work two jobs, too. I'm saving to move out. And I ride twice a week, or try to. Last night I had no bike to ride...long story.
But if it's possible, it'd be fun to go out and ride with you two. Maybe some memembers of my posse would like to go!

Hey Cory,

BMX is so underground for the majority of the female population. I didn't even know flatland existed until I met a flatlander, at school. And I'm pretty observant. I went to metro before I even had a bike and became a spectator, for the first time ever. Well, that was never gonna work...

Girls are more likely to participate in sports like snowboarding because of the coverage, and they know it EXIST. Statistically the fastest growing sport among girls in Canada is ice hockey. ICE HOCKEY! it's been around for more than 100 YEARS!! And it's just becoming popular now? but there has been a surge in female skateboarding. Again, they know it exist because of the commercialism. And a lot of these girls would pick up a BMX over a skateboard if the idea crossed thier mind. I tried skateboarding when I was 15, but something about it made me hate it. If BMX was more prominent in the media, there would be a lot more girl riders. There's a speical allure in BMX, from a feminine perspective, especially flatland.

And Rebecca, if you ever wanted a female support team come ride with Danielle, Emily, Lauren, and myself in our winter spot. We'd love if you came to ride with us.
