You dont have to explain who atmosphere is, he's famous worldwide.
you dont have to bump a year old thread
i don t get it... maybe if Slug re-wrote it so it made sense.... If atmosphere s so famous why does everyone look at me like I m crazy when I bring it up? And why was that one dude busking on the streets two doors down from the venue? I was really surprised at the turn out though. KW pop. is 190 000 and that place was packed to the rafters. I was impressed to say the least.

Just for fun I went to the first page of this forum and found this thread. It s funny because I just saw Atmosphere about 2 weeks ago in my little city called Kitchener. CRaZy. ... and for the after hours peeps... we smoked a joint with the percussionist...or as he put it "I Play the Cowbell for Atmosphere" totally straight faced. ha ha. I m bad ass. Goooood Times. We asked him to wink at us during the show. Oh, and the other MC ( I believe he goes by the name Murr) was freakin' busking on the street two doors down from the venue!!!! So we chatted him up a bit too. We also met and talked with pretty much every one who was on that stage that night. Everyone was so down to earth. Our conversations consisted of random topics.. from the differences in Spanish, English and French to our street wear. Fabulous night.

Hey Marco. Remember me? And Emily? We met in the dark in J F's bedroom on your last morning in Montreal. ha ha. It looks like you had a lot of fun in Canada. Good to see the outcome of it all.
Re: you have £600 - $1000 Build your own bike from 2 online stores (not real money) posted on 2006-09-21 15:00:56
One of the most frustrating parts of buying parts is budgeting. You may have gotten a better response if there was an unlimted cash flow. I was tempted to build a ficticious bike... but... :? im lazy :? Anyone got any good chase tires for me? There s an upgrade I could use. And maybe some nice light rims.

Neat Idea for a thread. Right now I m working on my very first switch...the one i thought of before i even rode; funky chicken to wheel chair to.... let s start with that.. Im soo close. I could always get around the bars and find them again, but never keep my foot on the wheel, TODAY im got around the bars with my foot on the wheel and i lost the bar with my left hand..yup.. so close.... so very very close....

Nice riding spot. I'm assuming that's some sort of track with a balcony above it. Is it like a spongy surface? Or like an outdoor tennis court? That first pick is tricky. Ha ha. Do you spin in a tight circle? What's going on. Vive le France!
Re: GIRL RIDERS?ARE THEY REAL? posted on 2006-08-11 21:37:27
This is getting freakin' ridiculous.
And if your balls are so big and great why dont YOU show some pictures. Bitch. ha ha. What I think DuncanPark meant to say was that some girls aren't into riding bikes, they can be more like two positively charged ions. So it can be hard to handle the two.... I've been told. This is straaaaange to me. Anyways. You should get a telescope and spy on your neighbours. That theory is tested and true.
So you ve got a few months.... i'd.... probably play katamari damacy a lot and do something that takes a lot of focus, as a destraction from biking. Like you could learn sign language or make a zine or paint things? ha ha i dont know. Do something cool though instead of mope around because the time will go by faster. :-D Happy recovering!

Re: brakes....no brakes???? posted on 2006-07-24 20:50:09
This is probably one of the greastest flatland philosophical questions. I ride brakeless... and there s actually no one good reason. Instead I ride brakeless for a plethra of reasons. Flatland s already so hard, so just up the ante? I feel more gansta? More free? Im for the underdog? I just feel it? It can be done? ...I still scuff though. Jeez! Riding brakeless doesn t condemn you to only rolling. Although it is fun to roll. But drag and scuff.
