yea but usually it takes forever, to ship to them, to get it fixed, and get it shipped back...

yeah we understand this and why we support him, even if he is not the original owner. The defective G6 will be repaired and repainted for free and will be in a stronger state. In the future, if he wants a new frame, we can cost/exchange for a new one.

Quamen differs in warranty procedures becuase we actually do repairs/mods. We can give original owners a new replacement frame, but first, we rather solve the actual problem (defect? machined too much? faulty design?) to avoid the same problem in the future. Thanks for the help and cooperation Julian.

Re: Removing Lardsets posted on 2006-10-15 17:25:24

the lardset (1st gen) was meant to be a one time use only becuase the bearings are replaceable, and the only time you would take it out is if you would  of broken it.

But if you want to take it out, you are to pound the lardset off by the outside edges of the cup. Get a wedge and place on top of lardset and pound it cautiously. Make sure not to damage the headtube (thats why you use a wedge). This task should not be too difficult

TJ, i know you can break that Gamma judging from your rep.  Its a matter of time. Quamen frames are not indestructable. If they were, there would be no competition or evolution. We aim for durability, but to an extent (to satisfy the needs of the sport and wants of the riders). There is a reason why we only made 50 of these specific frames; a selected few who can help us with our research and development. We will take care of any problems with Gamma owners- for life. I just dont want to hear you yappin' online if you break one yourself.
Just ride it
