I'm using a Pearl Eliminator-totally adjustable in so many ways, if your not sure of what kind of feel you're looking for, you'll have a lot of options with these and A: they're not too expensive, B: they're easy to get parts for, should you need to and C: Pearl has great customer service. If money is of no object, then by all means go for the Axis A Longboards.

And how is using a double pedal "cheating"? Have you ever toured? I'd love to drag two bass drums around on the road, but space is an issue. Hell, some places that we've played barely had enough room for my 4 pc. kit on stage, let alone a huge 7 pc. set-up.

This was a long time in the making due to a lot work, touring, ect., but I finally finished it! Built the wheels, custom decals and pinstriping (hard to see but a very subtle double stripe on the top tube in ivory) I'll have to shoot it under not-so-sunny conditions!

And I'm sure that about 7 of them all sound the same.

The black shouldn't have been printed on top of the white. It probably feels like a frisbee is glued to the shirt.

You do realize that not one of these bands is "hardcore" Metalcore or whatever they try to pass themselves off as these days, but not hardcore.

Woo... I'm loving how my new Darwin got this nice dent... posted on 2005-02-08 07:04:24

On my Rigid, I had cro-mo Haro cranks that had about 3 sheets of notebook paper clearance between the chainstay and crank arm. I dropped that heavy bitch a ton of times and never got as much as a scratch. Sounds like that frame is paper thin and the cranks are really flexable.

Mediocre at best. And that's being nice.

My main band is Solace-we tour and from what I've heard, are pretty good!

I just recorded with a NYC punk band, Dead Dean, but no website/MP3's yet.
Me, the bass player from Solace and my old guitarist (from Lethal Aggression) are working on a side project called Kill Me Now, which will be like a faster, heavier NOFX meets Motorhead.

What head angle would you like to see on the Quamen G6? posted on 2005-01-13 20:55:14

I'm partial to the "regular" Quaman of 76.5. I really believe that the geometry makes the biggest difference if a bike feels light or heavy. I have a bowls and a G3. I used to ride a Rigid which is a really heavy frame. The Bowls is the same geometry but is a full 3 pounds lighter and riding it (the Bowls) with all the same parts as my G3 or lighter, feels like I'm riding a 45lb bike. It's so bad that I'm wanting to get rid of it.

If I had the cash, I'd be planning another Athens trip next month!

Back in the day, they actually wrote good songs. Their music up until about Love Gun was very good for the era. But after they did their 4th or 5th "Farewell" tour, they became a parody of themselfs.

Athens and FEJ are now my only reason to ever want to ride a bike! Absolutely the coolest people, most badass riders, and people who know how to have fun!

Thanks to Kent for putting it all together and the incredible hospitality of all the Athens locals!!!!

The other half of the Jersey crew, Augie, Rosie and myself dodged any tickets, weather and vomit in the car (we couldn't mess up the Benz!) although Aug did a little "redecorating" at the hotel on friday night. I wouldn't know what happened on the way home, being I slept for around 10 of the 11 hours in a alcohol and drug induced coma.

After a total of 18+ hours of sleep, I almost feel human again! Now to learn and perfect Smith decades for next year...
