Bump since the last post was Halloween ;) I got a little riding in before snow came to stick around every few days, but not as much as I'd have liked. Getting Older just pushes on my gimpy back even more, but I'm doing what I can to fix that up, Scalpel free. :p Good to see the place around, especially without all the blinding marketing pitches and lies about Product Quality. I miss the internet before the marketing companies got a hold of it, and started with all their 'blogs' that are mostly just spoofed advertising. Be strong this Xmas, I already go out of my way to avoid Malls and the like, as the Holiday Rage shoppers are already in full effect.

Do you have the STN? That thing looks sweet as Hell.

Howdy from the workplace. It's been some time since I dropped a post, but as it's been getting nice again here in WNY, I've been out on my Bike a few times this season.
Considering the straight up rape @ the Gas Pumps, my Car is going on the Low and I will be retorting to my early teenage days of using my bike as Primary transportation around town, when not straight up dorkin a local lot.
Anywho, I was curious if the infinite powers of Pedal could advise me of a Seat with decent reliability, with quite a bit of comfort for my chunky ass. I currently have my Primo Hemmorhoid, and while it has a good reliability to it, it pretty much fails in the comfort dept.
The only seat I can think of that had comfort was the old Mirra seats. I don't do a ton of upside-down scuffing, and if I'm in the mood, I'll put my old Primo on. I just wanted to pick some brains of anyone who has a preferred 'around-town' Seat.
So far, I see a sold out S&M Hot Seat that might fit the bill, but any personal feedback is greatly appreciated. ;)
Thanks and Happy Occasional Sunshine,

It's good to see the site is still around. I agree that most like the original design of the site, but that was also most likely when it was not as large (user base).
I'm an IT Dork, so I know once you get to a point with Web Traffic, that you need to look @ advertising to support the site and bandwidth costs. I do currently kinda feel like I am on a pr0n fetish site with all the flashing ads and stuff. Perhaps there could be 'membership' option for the more loyal members, who could bypass all the ads and such Al La a yearly support fee?
Sorry for anything I may have repeated from shit-tons of other people, but I'm a busy one these days, and I keep my forum lurking on the lightness.
Good to see ya about again, I'll try to drop in again, soon.

I made it out ~7:45 or so after meeting up w/ Family... Holy crap, Reynolds got even more shady then back in the day, w/ that huge ass fence. Thanks for the invite, but from the rotting look of Lancaster, I'll prolly just goto York next run. :p

It's been a long time, and I have been busy as hell with work here in NY. I am comming back to PA until Monday (8/21) for a Bachelor Party, and will have my fiancee and my Bikes with me. If anyone in the Lancaster or York PA area is around these boards still, and wants to chill, just post or PM Me.
It's Ryan, Formerly known as the 'Kid w/ the Green EP', and previous loving resident of the Reynolds rear parking lot on Sat and Sundays a few years back. ;)
Flatlanders In PA where are you? posted on 2006-05-05 12:09:56
I'm another old Reynold Rider from Lancaster, PA. I Moved to NY a few Years ago, and currently live in Rochester.
I was the guy w/ the Green EP for quite some time :p I will probally be back @ Reynolds for Old Times Sake in the next few months, as I do believe we are throwing my Bachelor Party there, since that is where my Old Crew resides.
I'll Post and Dig up some Cell #'s once I find out when we are coming to town again ;)
Ways To Gain Balance? posted on 2006-05-05 12:05:30
Try Balancing the front of the Bike by focusing on keeping your upper Body stable, while using your Lower Body to compensate for the shift in Directions. Some people have different styles, but I think if you try to dedicate Balance funtions based on Upper and Lower body, you may get a better feel on establishing better Balance.
I hope that made Sense and helps you out. Happy Holidays.

losing weight (not on my bike) posted on 2006-05-05 09:07:13
I Picked up some Lbs this Winter, and so far, my best strat for dropping some mass, was to cut down Meal Portions. If you start reading suggested Meal Sizes, and check the Daily %'s, you can cut your meals, and Mass down pretty quick.
I might sound like a Fruit, but my Fiancee uses the Weight Watchers Books to calculate daily points and so on. Using Points based on your size really helps you know how much you should eat, and when to stop.
Happy Riding, the Sun is out in Rochester Today :o All I need is for the Workday to end ;)
Oh Yeah...
There is this lot I ride at, Sometimes theres some cars parked there, but its a huge lot, downtown overflow parking. Do they have to drive up, park right where your riding? With the whole damn lot empty?
Good Question, I think that is the Ultimate Paradox. I Ride in a HUGE Parking lot, that was built for the Rochester Fairy to Canada, and got sold to the EU's...
So yeah, Big ass Empty Parking lot, but people still find a Need to drive Through it when I am there, instead of using the empty streets that surround the whole lot :\
Sorry, back on Topic, I agree Pics being snapped w/o the respect of asking can be annoying. I am pretty shitty, so I never have such concerns ;)
We had a ton of silly kids who would Flock around us @ Reynolds a few years back, and ask silly questions. A few quick Q's are fine, but when the guy is making you spend more time talking about crap then riding your Bike, I throw a flag on the Play.
Best Grips? posted on 2006-05-05 08:57:28
I've been riding the Primo Degroot grips for a few years, went through ~ 2-3 Pairs. Probally gonna check out the Coalition "Taj" Grips today, as I like to float around town for run too.
I like the Primos, but I want to grab something different and local, as I'm ~ 4 Blocks from the Kink Distributor ;)
