alright well i bought this and i like it but am annoyed as fuck with putting movies and pictures on it, you can't delete anything from the zune, u have to use the program and half the time the program says there are no files to delete. when uploading quite a few songs/movies/pics it'll stop about half way through so you have to reset it. i dont think it was worth it yet. they need to work out some bugs, with the program anyway.
Oh my god, why is everyone so surprised by this? Hell I was Microsoft all the way ( even became MCSA cert) but enough is enough. Always touting their wares as the best ever and all they do is disappoint.

Bought a Mac two months ago...will never go back to Windows again.

No I'm not one of these crazy" gotta rebel against the institution" types. I just like things to work.
Snoogens, is it true that if a person gets lasik eye surgery they will go blind if they get cataracts?
Lasik or no lasik, once you develop Cataracts you loose sight little by little. Cataracts is the process of the lens in your eye opacifing and hardening. If you don't get it removed and have a implant put in, you will loose the ability to see. Cataracts get worse over time until they become "ripe" and need to be extracted. A lens similar to a contact lens is inserted and this allows you to see good at a distance, because the lens in you eye has been removed you loose the ability to accomodate and see up close(reading glasses are now necessary, but by the time cataracts become an issue you probably have been using reading glasses for about 20 years). There are new implants now that allow you to see at a distance and up close with greater ease. Cataracts are a age related condition but can also be triggered by trauma. Most people lose their sight because of disease or trauma not because of aging. I hope this helped. :)

Your the expert right? so you should know everything!lol
I'm just kidding and Yes, she told me that.
That's what all those fancy initials after my name denote 8)

My wife is an eye doctor and she got a good chuckle from that too. Don't feel silly, I have heard much crazier stuff.

Your doctor may have been talking about Orthokeratology which is the practice of using hard contact lenses overnight to flatten the curvature of the cornea, thus providing better vision for myopic patients. Who cares right? Ok, I'm boring myself too. I'll stop.

Here is the truth about glasses...

Weight matters, simple as that. Get yourself a pair of lightweight titanium frames, they are lighter and are hypoallergenic for those who tend to sweat alot. Do larger lenses give you better peripheral vision? Yes, but they look dorky as hell. If you have a high RX most opticians will put you in a polycarbonate lens or some type of high-index lens. Both of those lenses will reduce the thickness of the lens as well as reduce the weight(over regular plastic lenses). The downside to these lenses are that they tend to produce high peripheral distortion. Contacts are the alternative to glasses but must always be used in compliance with your doctors recommendation for wear. Most people think contacts are simple devices which can be misused without consequences, after 10 years in this field I have seen what damage they can do when misused. On a side note, if any of you contact lens wearers use ReNu solution for your lenses, please discontinue the use of it, it is being linked to an outbreak of fungal infections and they can be very nasty to treat.

If you have any questions feel free to PM.

P.S. Pat, Oakleys kick ass. Another good brand is Silhouette. You can't beat Silhouette for weight and durability.
