I am back. I just tried to log in and had success.

I post over at bmxboard. It seemed like when protyle went down, several of the people moved over there.

I also post a soulstrut.com and scratchlive.com. I recently set up an account at www.betterthanyourboyfriend.com . The guy who runs it is wild. He thought about getting a penguin and so he set up a swimming pool in his living room.

I have no problems with conservatives. I have some conservative friends. There are conservatives in my family. I am sure most conservative males have cocks longer than three inches.
I think the problem is with the leadership of the conservatives. The people who say the right sweet nothings in the ear of the conservative base to get them to do their bidding.
I have been a bad citizen lately and have been very distracted. Lots going on right now in my personal life.
I am not quite understanding some of your points.
I am guessing your point is that if an outlet is not overtly conservative, it must be liberal?
I can understand the use of editorial shows but the news segments are passable on both sides. I don't understand Brit Hume who tries to wear both hats.
Lou Dobbs is not very liberal. That Nancy Grace is not the most liberal thing you have heard. If you change the .....fuck it, I am bored with this. I will be back when I have more time.

another part of the porblem is that only 9 of 10 liberal actually think they are liberal. Which can thro the numbers off a bit...and come on....your actually admiting that convservative can have 3 inch plus cocks?

not that anyone wants to actually take on my hypothesis that SOOO many do agree with.

Im not saying ones better than the other or whatnot..but different venues attract different people.

I know by default that TV is an equal 50/50 split...that sounds mroe ridiculous if you ask me.

Why is it soo "dangerous" in yoru minds to admit the obvious?

that network AND cable news tends to mroe liberal ..yes throw in FOX and paint it as conservative as possible. TV... it still is.

Yeah Ted Turners baby is REAL conservative. I think the problem you have with CNN Jason is thats its liberal..not extrmely Bias. CNN had to change its face a few years recall? Did it make a liberal change or conservative?

What conservative host did they put on that they didnt already have a personality for?

Glenn Beck?

pfft.

I dont care about indpependant shows..Im talking about actual NEWS COVERAGE.

I can in no way defend or attack editorial style shows...from Jacksons cancelled "Both Sides" pfft...to your favorite O'Reilly. or Combs.

I can name liberal host after host from day time news programming so it's negate any argument you had there..

plus name me one single self declared news anchor for any prime time network slot...hell name any conservative anchors or executive producers! Mr. Industry that I cant understand.

The difference between Fox News and CNN is that Fox deep throats conservative cock and CNN takes all but an inch or two.

I'd like to see where you got TV = liberal.

When I think of liberal I think more of.. You know... vermont.
Fox being about the only thing close to simply NOT representing a liberal view...from anchors and program directors that OPENLY liberal.

I guess its simply 50/50 like some politcal "specturm leveling" bi-focals. Your guys are obsessed with fantasy equalization.

Those are the transcripts from those aim conversations.
I seriously think most republicans I know are really good people. I think the leadership of their party are crooks and pedophiles.

The GOP spin is dems are bad too. Drudge blamed the children calling them "beast".

I heard yesterday how the pundits were trying to compare it to the Clinton-Lewinsky thing. I think it was Hannity that said she was 19, a teenager. These guys never let the truth get in the way of good spin. She was 22 when all that went down, pardon the pun.

Speaking about the joke that is American Politics, anyone really excited to see the Robin Williams movie where he is a comedy news tv show host, and runs for president and wins, then doesn't know what to do.

It is funny how respecting the office of president was so much different when Clinton was in office. Why didn't these people leave the country when they didn't like the Clinton administration?

I know this is an underhanded slam on the so-called "liberal" media. If that is not what you intend, I apologize, but I know that is a popular misperception.
So these photos make it look like there was more damage was done than was really done. I still think this is a few isolated cases. I have worked as a journalist before. I worked in television though, so I can't speak too much for print.
The photo with the added smoke, I don't get it. It was horrible in the first place. It really didn't need it.
I guess it is a thread elsewhere but it was mentioned it was like adding a bloody nose to a slit throat.
There are a lot of conflicting reports on this and I am not sure what to believe. I really do believe just like the U.S. and our "enemies" there is plenty of blood on everyone's hands. There are no innocents here except for the civilians who were killed.
I could go on for days about that whole conflict but talking about doctored photos.

Check out this story from the 2004 election where Jane Fonda was photoshopped into a photo of John Kerry.

Re: gay marriage posted on 2006-08-22 16:57:58

I will semi-agree with you this. I do think some people are born gay. I think some people are drawn to the cock like I was drawn to the pussy. There is scientific studies backing this up. There are instances in nature where animals of the same sex hook up. I do believe homosexuality is a part of what was created.
Now do I think everyone with a rainbow sticker on the bumper of their car was born that way? No I don't. I do think there are some that are socially gay. I think this most of your college freshmen lesbians fall in this category. It is an accepting subculture. I still think it is a minority of a minority that are socially gay.
It isn't really up to me to say if this person was born gay or college freshmen lesbian gay.
Typically if someone is wanting to marry another person, it really isn't the passing fancy type thing.

to gensanity:

your saying that (obviously) gay people cannot create a child. so "the world is missing out becuase there is no chance that any child coulde be born that could change the world in a possitive/negative way". so it seems liek you dont even like the fact that people are gay. if you belive in god, and that people are born gay (i dont know if you do bleive in those two things or not) but you should take into consideration that those people were never meant to create to begin with, thus, no potential for greatness was ever there. the same goes for hetero sexual people. are you gonna tell the heterosexual people out there they need to procreate becuase there spawn may be the one who brings peace, or cures cancer or what not? mabey god had no plans for them to have children.
I do believe in god, but i don't think gay people are born that way @ all.
I think it's a decision they make.  And if it really is something they can't control and they didn't "decide", then I think chemically, something is mixed up with them, causing this backwards attraction.  And we should investigate that more.

I'm sure there are many people out there, that god had no intention of them having children.  You make a point.
But I'm tired of beating this subject to death.
No one is going to change their point of view.

Re: gay marriage posted on 2006-08-18 14:52:47

Atleast we are talking about this. I often wonder if other sports have as interesting conversations as we do here at pedal.

I was using the logic that you applied to the penis and what you consider it was created for and its intentions. Yes there are some biological things it was created to do. You eyes were created to see but luckily we were given the capacity to appreciate "beauty".

With the logic that your provided toward the penis, I don't see how you could disagree with mine about the boobies. Boobs have a purpose and if that is not what they are used for isn't that wrong? Is being consistent importantant?

I understood your point and was being a tad sarcastic myself. Sarcasm is hard to pull off on the internet. Still I would never likely be around you to enjoy one of your PB&J sandwiches, but if I did and it is a tad salty......
you have a very good point about oral sex and sex outside of procreation!

I can see how those are the same thing, poking holes in my view.  :P
but then again,  I could say that your comparison of gay sex to liking boobs is rediculous.  but i won't

The peanut butter thing.. i was being sarcastic.

Peanut butter was just the first random thing that came to my mind.. it came to my mind because for some reason when trying to think of a random word I imagined a dog licking peanut butter off his lips.

Re: gay marriage posted on 2006-08-18 12:47:56

It is not just whoever said it here about man/dog marriage. It seems like man/dog sex is a conservative talking point. Rick Santorum is widely known for bringing up the subject of man/dog sex into the debate when no one was discussing man/dog sex.

It was only a couple days ago that Janet Rowland, a Liutenent Gubenatorial candidate from Colorado, got her self in a little hot water about dropping a "what's next man/sheep?"-blast?

By you definition of creation of intention, is it wrong for me to like titties? How about oral sex? What about sex outside of procreation?

I have never thought of sticking my penis in peanut butter. Where do you come up with this stuff? Remind me to never have a PB&J sandwich if I am ever at your house.
its just an example

no difference between dogs, cats, sock puppets, lawn mowers, whatever the hell random thing that comes to mind.

1 thing they all have in common?

your penis was not created with the intention of entering their insides.

Why should he, or anyone need to explain that?

The only thing that's being done is attacking, maybe a lazy choice of words in order to make an argument look less credible.  Forget about "dog"

replace it with peanut butter if you have to  and move on.

What would you appathizers think if suddenly you flicked on the t.v to see a huge rally trying to promote the marriage of man and dog?
You guys talk about how homosexuality is not normal and not natural but one of the arguments I hear is "whats next man and dog marriage?". Seriously what the fuck? Rick Santorum dropped this gem a few years ago. How often do you conserveratives think about man/dog sex? I have heard it from a lot of conservatives, they think the gays are perverts but thier minds automatically goes straight to man/dog sex. During the debate about the rights that go along with being married, man/dog sex never crossed my mind. I guess that is just me.

I think the biggest problem is people get caught up in the lovey dovey words. Once you get past all the warm fuzzies, what is marriage? It is a contract that grants rights. If Mommy #1 is a work and Mommy #2 needs to be able to take Mommy #1 biological child to the emergency room. If Dude #1 had a commited relationship with Dude #2 and Dude #1 dies, Dude #2 should have some rights. At my work, they were progressive enough to offer same sex benefits but while this chicks partner was dying, they refused her FMLA. I think that is fucked up.

I have just found a producer who has a similar vision. I will be going into the studio soon. I am not an emcee, I am a poet. I am a performance poet. I can ride a beat though. My stuff is very rhythmic.
Last week was the national poetry slam. He was in town for that. There was this hip hop after party. I wound up on stage and didn't want a track. I wanted a beatbox. So Sage was co-hosting this party and he supplied the beatbox. It was a blast. There was a good crowd. It felt good.
I am not super familiar with Sage. Before that night I couldn't have picked him out in a line up. I  have heard the name but not familiar with his work. It's alright. Its a little too Emo-hop.
I was telling this cat about it. He was stoked. He has his album and went to his show the next night. I mentioned going to see Rakim on the first of next month and he didn't know who that was. How is anyone going know anything about hip hop and not know who Rakim is? That is one of the reasons I am not too into Emo-hop.

What you say matters. What you say becomes matter. You call your existence into being. I am a spoken word poet. Most people don't understand the power of words.
Biggie named his first album Ready to Die and you see what happened.
I have written fictional (well semi-fictional pieces), that I have later had come into my life. I have a piece about a retired stripper who is a soccer mom now. It was a composite of a few people when I wrote it, but I have met chicks who you could be convinced it was written for them. I have one abstract piece where I am hanging out with the color blue talking about ex's with each ex being represented by a color of the spectrum. I wrote that five years ago. About six months ago I met and started hanging out with a neighbor. All he wore was blue, he was BLUE tatted on his arm in blue and people called him "Blue".
In Waking Life, Richard Linklater goes into a story about an essay by Phillip K Dick about meeting people that were very much like those in Flow My Tears the Policeman Said years after writing the novel.
I have a friend of a friend who complains about everything. He also complains about how much his life sucks. Well, of course it is going to suck if you complain all the time. There is a correlation.
What is the connection to prayer? What you say matters. What you say becomes matter. I performed my poetry hundreds of times over the years at open mics, shows, features and festivals and things I have written about have come into fruition. I think whether you call it prayer, chanting, spells or whatever, you are calling your existence into being.
That reminds me of this thing about me. I have been noticing it for years. I seem to have this ability to think about someone I have not seen in a long time/years. I start talking about this person, and Bam, In a week or less, They will be in town or call me up or something in a week or less. It only seems to work if I talk about the person. This has happened more times than I can remeber it not happening.
