back up plan for no york jam posted on 2006-08-11 01:09:46
Since it has come to my attention that no one can agree or disagree on if there will be a YORK JAM THIS YEAR WHICH im assuming there is none. We the South central flatland community have taken it upon ourselves to organize an event. The event will be held by mountaintopfab.com and the rest of our local community. The event will be held at Weavers grocery store in ADamtown,PA on Sunday Oct 1st sorry folks for a Sunday but we have full permision to do so since the lot is empty and we know the owners. There is ample riding space to say the least with 2 extreemly large parking lots some flat some down hill for folks like myself. There are plenty of hotels and camping facilites near by if need be. The saturday evening before is also open once the store closes. Directions: From northeast get to the PA Turnpike take the adamtowns/rt 272 north exit follow it for about 2 miles weavers will be on your left you cant miss it. From points west or south take the turn pike get off at the same exit and follow 272 north and you wont miss it once again. Many people have complained about no jams in our area so here is your chance to help there be one in light of the missing york jAM. Hopefully with east coast support we can make this a memorable event email me at freestylinkale @yahoo.com
