We used to dress up in silly costumes and ride years ago...
It was called a uniform, and that thing on you used to wear on your head was called a helmet, usually advertising some company who was about sales and didn't give a crap about BMX. Not to rain on the parade, but costumes are for Halloween and the Circus. I'm all for the "fun" factor, but for the public to take this flatland stuff seriously, this would seem like a step backwards.

Neela, in general I find your posts online to be CONFUSING, and not proof-read.
I like the idea that the ASC wants to do something for Flatland, you guys have been great with us "flatters" so far, but everything seems like it is thrown together without thinking it through.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but If I was going to go this event to ride OR compete, I would need alot more details.

One huge issue that hasn't been mentioned is that today youger riders have the internet to get the coverage online - FOR FREE.
In the day, the magazines were all there was, plain and simple. If you didn't get it there - you didn't get it.
Alot of people still don't get it anyway..... ha, ha.
