I'm good man but thanks, I love my primo "silencers" the only real weight on my bike is my heavy ass back hub but I'm gonna freecoaster sooner or later. I like my bike a little heaver because I love to have some counter weight when I do spinning stuff. I rode tanks my whole life my heaviest bike was probably 55lbs - 60lbs 21in tt t-1 barcode, with a haro revo fork and chrome 48h alex triple wall rims....

Oh and my pegs are 1.95 basicly 2.0 I remember last time I changed peg sizes, I like my big 2 diameter pegs

Whats good! Welcome to the wide world of flatland....first off, flatlandfuel.com is your new best friend. Any flatland related and some unflat related products can be found there Pats the owner anything you need hes your guy.....Now about your bike situation......I highly recommend a smaller frame.......BUT since your getting it for cheap as long it not over $200 bucks your set, you can basically ride what ever suits the style your going for.....not everyone has to start on a flat bike (I started out on a 18in girls Kent...then moved to a Haro revo then to a 21in top tube t-1 barcode) my first 3 bikes weren't even near flatland specs........GOOD LUCK BRO!

Its nothing special but its an ARES so I'm happy, its basicly the same as my old set-up only drilled pegs, a marcel seat and a t.i. chain ring......AND YES ITS STILL A TANK, BUT ITS MY TANK DAMMIT!

What a way to open 2007 posted on 2007-01-01 23:21:55

..........With a new trick! I was watching the Trick Stars 7 Trailer (again!) and saw Adam Kuns Turbine Cliffhanger Kick-flip rideout (again!!). So I go out, in the rain, and try it............1st try - bike pops up almost hits me in the face........ 2nd try - pegs clipped my legs from under me (my ass still hurts) but I move forward.........3rd try - BAM! HIT THE TRICK STRAIGHT TO THE BACK PEGS (because I don't have my cranks yet!)

Anyone else with any 1st day on the new year news (doesn't have to be a trick or anything)?

A friend of mines knows Bruce and said when its completely done there should be zero slack, and a non reverse dis-engage (just stop pedaling for freecoaster action)

First off, Jon Dowker is probably one off the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (well last year anyway!...lol).....with that said, if you under 21 most likely your shit outta luck for both the friday night party / hangout and the Jam after party. If I'm not mistaken I think we (Me, Tyler, Tyler's bro) rode in the parking garage up the street from the lot friday night, so this year I guess that'll be like the under 21 Preday / Post Athjam jam

i figure tight clothes would be just as good if not better for flatland than street  and such. your more involved with the bike in flatland

They are. The lower the crotch is on your jeans, the less mobile you are. Think about it. If the crotch was at your ankles, you wouldn't be able to open your legs at all.

Dikies are great when they're new. Once they start to wear out they look and feel sloppy. Kind of hard to explain, I guess.

The ones with that scotchguard stuff in them never wear out, plus you can wear them baggy but don't have that super low crotch

Re: elevation wrong result posted on 2006-11-09 09:05:33

I know for a fact from the finals Jarrod should of placed higher than I did

Re: elevation wrong result posted on 2006-11-08 21:31:03

everything got real outta control at the end so I think they only judged the last runs which was fucked up!

Tyler got left out the mid couple of runs, so when everyone got caught up (EVERYONE HAD I THINK 5 TURNS) Technically Tyler had 6

results should of been

Dave
Jarrod
Tyler
Deiago
Me (Isaiah)
Mike  (would of won but really fell apart in the finals)
