We've all broke parts, that's just the way it is. Most of us aren't whiney little bitches that come on the forum complaining like the world cares. I say Quamen should stick to there guns. Why should one person get special treatment? Shit breaks, big fucken deal, it happens. I've broken pedals in one day, I've gotten tires that are defective from the get go. I've bent seatposts, dropouts, bars, all in relatively short time frames, I don't feel like I'm owed shit though I just suck it up and peg it off as a loss. Quamen shouldn't have to bow down for every broken bar or part. They're still a business and if someone want's to complain about the business they run they probably aren't that important, Quamen has done more positive shit than negative.
Shut the fuck up... what age are you? Maybe see things from TJ's side of view, as someone who is trying to ride flat and doens't have DAD/MOMMY's money supporting them?

No other words said... and I even think very highly of QUAMEN BIKES.

Trade KGB for WTP Div or SC Instrumental... ??? posted on 2005-09-02 20:23:19

I'm willing to trade my KGB (19" brown euro) frame for preferably a WTP Div frame or a Sich Child Instrumental.

I know it's a drastic change, but I just want to ride a simple bike... nothing complex. It just doesn't suit my riding style anymore.

Anyway... thought I would throw it out there and see what kind of feedback I can get.

Thanks...
So where is that Quamen? Are you still in Bend? We're getting together the weekend of the fourth if you can make it, Scott. And bring that damned seat post clamp.

PM me your address, I have a birthday present for you, no matter what date your birthday actually lands on...

The weekend of the fourth as in, our great lil' Independence Day fourth, or the ever so great fourth of JUNE?

Or you can just ride what feels good to you, use what parts you feel that are comfortable, and not be a little bitch?

Humm, concept?
Hey Scott,
Let me know how those primo commets work out. I have always wondered about them for flatland.

Cheers
I love them, myself... but that is just a personal preference. Very smooth and last a long time for me. Bad for if you ride on really smooth surfaces, maybe.

Good luck.

... and yeah, I know the tensioner's are hideously long, but I haven't gotten a chance to do some custom "fab" work on the bike yet, I just wanted to build it up ASAP.
What was your last frame before this? How does the head angle compare to your last frame? I'm just curious of how much of a drastic change from a 75 or so headangle to a 73.
I was riding a Quamen G4 with a 76.5 hta, obviously... between the 73.5 hta and the zero degree forks, honestly, I can't tell that much of a difference. I mean, it's obviously a little different, but it feels really good.

I just got it built last night though, and have had just one session on it. We'll see what happens, but I like it a lot so far.

I still love the feel of my old Quamen though.

I got a chance to ride the Quamen Delta (both Taku's and Jose's), and I will say (no ofense to Zenta, Sean, Jose or Griot), but the KGB rides so much better than the Delta, in my OWN personal OPINION.

Thanks for the comments...

Well guys, I'm part of the clan now... I'll suppose I need to start drinking Red Bull instead of Rockstar, and completely outfit myself with either Red Bull or G-Unit clothing, not to mention those nifty do-rags!
