Someone please buy either of these frames they are in great condition or new!
1st is a brand new Quamen Bowls frame direct from the factory--never even assembled let alone ridden. Specs: 19.25"tt, 13.5"cs, 75.5'ha, just over 5 lbs.

2nd is a Prototype Alliance Equinox frame with the same specs as the Bowls frame but with Euro bb. The picture shows it raw but it has a black powdercoat finish.

I am hoping to get $200 for each but will entertain reasonble offers or, I will sell both together for $300.

I rode with Dave Schaefer a couple of weeks ago, he doesn't ride much but has a purple FBM frame he was rolling on. We weren't going off or anything but it didn't seem like he lost touch.

Gensanity, that's just another way to say the same thing. Yes, we are all part of the whole, yet we are very centered around ourselves. Most people cannot see that, but that's how it is. Everything you do and see is colored by your own way of thinking. Nothing wrong with that and, in fact, realizing that is the way to go (IMO). I really wasn't disagreeing with your post, but just trying to explain how you might've gotten there. Of course, since I'm giving you my personal perspective, it is colored by my "lens." That's how I came to realize the same thing you came to realize. My apologies if that led to a misunderstanding, but that's the danger when we post stuff like this (unless you get two extremely like-minded individuals).
Brandon, you don't even know me dude, so stop calling me infantile nihilist. You start attacking and you don't even know where I'm coming from.
Props to gensanity for posting this, I dig it.

You know what is weird is that I kind of suspected that something like the first paragraph that you just wrote was motivating that statement. Therefore, the 'infantile nihilist' statement wouldn't apply to you (don't take it personally anyway, it was more of a general statement); come to think of it 'infantile' was not the right word for what I wanted to say, 'naive' would be better (not that I'm calling you naive but, without the disclaimer of yours I quoted above, to say that nothing matters could be construed that way). Sorry for offending you, it was honestly unintentional...actually I think now that I read your last post I may see exactly where you are coming from. If I am right, the position you are talking about is a difficult one to articulate without sounding somewhat like a mystic (i.e. arriving at the view that everything matters through the realization the nothing does). If that is kind of what you are talking about I understand as well as can be said. Again, I did not intent to offend but merely to show something.

Ok, I am the guy that won the sickchild tee-shirt design, and over the past few weeks of corresponding with Ed, I feel that these guys are genuine and honest, not to mention nice, so I give props where it is warranted, Todd

You said it Gensanity! but those people simply cannot be serious since even the effort to bother to post a reply betrays that something matters to them, even if only their infantile nihilism.

it appears the sick child is the only one with 14mm. the other thing is im 6'3 at about 190 so im thinking i might need to deal with the strength of the components. So i really dont want to run a 3/8 axel because i believe there might be problems if i do.
I figure run a sick child frame with some nice 4 sealed hubs and freecoaster, 12g spokes on a alex supra e triple wall. find a nice mild offset fork and bars with a sealed headset. decent set of front and rear breaks and all the other little peices i left out.
Am i totally off in the way im trying to build this? or what other recommendations can people make of good parts to make a strong and good flatland frame.
Btw i love the bent bottom tube look so thats why i want one of the frames like that. i want to build this right the first time otherwise i would just get a comple, but i want the parts to be suited and work for me.
Thanks in advance.

Dude if you love the bent bottom tube thing you should check out my Alliance Equinox prototype in the classified section. Otherwise I say the Sick Child is best, 13 gauge spokes should be plenty strong and you could easily go with double wall rims instead. I weigh 190 lbs and I'm about 6' tall and have been riding for like 16 yrs so you can trust my advice.
