Yeah no offence nick. I did try and post my problems when the site was first changed but after writing a long message it was lost (just like all my old private messages that I wanted to keep). There are still so many rows with this new site for me that I can't bear to list them all again. I pretty much agree with the comments made by others and then some. Hopefully you can get this thing rolling again soon.

In the mean time, for people who found the older format a little more workable go to byke's site it's good

Re: where is everybody? posted on 2006-12-01 16:12:57

I'm guessing that like me they don't like the new format here and just took it as a good reason to bounce. By the way, did you get my e-mail about the spoke lengths Pat? Also if there is another older style forum out there that people have migrated to please let me know since this new format has been a downer for the past three weeks.

:-o That kid is only 16? --That's insane, man he has a bright future in fron of him. Kind of a good idea with that wooden surface he has too, since most comps are on something similar it should feel really natural for him to ride the comp surface floors. I still feel bad about bustin' on him about that exit...Sorry Mathias, you rule!

I can't believe you're busting on him for that? I just dont know what to think about people anymore.

That link was insane.

I know, I'm sorry. He's awsome don't get me wrong, those lines better than any of my shit. But just call it a pet-peeve. Anytime I dump the bike out of a trick like that it makes me soo mad so I kind of get the same feeling for other people too. Know what I mean?

Re: Mathias Dandois video ! posted on 2006-11-09 11:20:19

Cool, but he needs to learn how to not dump the bike on the ground out of that one trick all the time.

Very creative stuff guys, super cool.

Re: what about pete brandt? posted on 2006-11-09 05:54:33

Yeah man, I've been thinking he doesn't get what he deserves at comps for a while now. Come to think of it, he would make a great Nora Cup rider for the next vote.

Re: Are you a Libertarian? Probably... posted on 2006-11-08 13:28:08

Since I love labels so much, here I am as a liberal.

LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles

Either 1.75" or 1.85" (I'm not sure what sizes they came in). The amount I would want depends upon the price.

Can you still get these? If so where?

I might try the Tony bars on cost alone. (And because of your comments) Tho the Dags look sweet, tho its like 40 more bucks!! I think I might go for the 7.75 sweeps probably a similar fit to my 44s, which are supposed to be 8" but c to c more like 7.5.

The only thing im kinda worried about is the no upsweep. Is there an advantage to zero upsweep?
I think they actually do have 1 or 2 degrees of upsweep to offset eventual metal fatigue.

Some how I don't see that seat tube staying on the frame very well... and Im guessing this frame is going to be about as good as the junk they put out in the past...

Did anyone notice that after a few others and myself complained about our horrid experiences with kgb products that they dropped that "superior quality" sticker from all of their new merch???
I wonder if this frame will bring that sticker back?
Maybe one of the kgb riders on the board can tell us what happened to the superior quality slogan?
In all fairness to KGB, sometimes production quality is out of your hands. It was definitly like that with Dividual. I seems to be a kind of 'luck of the draw' thing with manufacturers. Unless you build the shit yourself (Tex's maxim), like the guys at Quamen do, it may be impossible to guarantee high quality products. But man, it really does seem like a little bad press about quality can really hurt sales huh?

I gave in and bought a Frequency G for my back tire after so many people raved about them on Pedal. I've ridden Walls for a long time, and so far I haven't been that impressed with the Frequency G. I've been riding it at 110 and it doesn't spin nearly as well as my Walls did at 100. I think my favorite thing about the Frequency G is that it was way easier to put on than a Wall. Maybe the new one is better.
You must be talking about the 1.85" version right? The 1.75" are way faster than walls.
Yes, 1.85. Also, I'm tentative about pumping them up beyond 110 because I really don't want to have to deal with a blow out.
I had them at 130 with absolutely no problems, should be fine. I think when Chase tried them he pumped them up to 140
