Re: MATT WILHELM DEAD! posted on 2006-12-05 05:48:44

That's not "our" Matt Wilhelm.  I hope you're not joking, cause that's a pretty sad story to make a joke about.

Not surprisingly, I am a centrist.  I was a little to the left last time I took this, a little to the right this time (not sure what answer changed).  I believe in free trade and the freedom to do whatever you want in your bedroom.  However, I don't support drug legalization, nor do I think we could realistically get rid of Social Security entirely.

Oh, and also, Jesus cares far more about United States politics than other countries'.

It's because we could take over your whole country tomorrow if we felt like it, so you better pay attention son.

Re: beginner back wheel trick posted on 2006-10-17 19:20:37

Although, to be fair, back brakes aren't really a factor in infinity rolls.

Re: beginner back wheel trick posted on 2006-10-17 19:19:42

Don't take off your brakes.  Replace your cable and learn dork wheelies and whatever else you want to feathering the brakes as needed...then eventually you'll be able to feather them less and less...then you'll feel like you don't need them at all...THEN take off your brakes if you really want to.

Removing them now would be simultaneously making learning more difficult, and limiting yourself in the process.

I don't know if it is in any videos, but I saw Dan Rigby do some incredible double-footed turbine stuff.

lard yard is harder than stick bitch is harder than backyard.

I learned lard yards by holding my t-shirt to the grip with my hand.

"liberal TV" = they have shows and stories that sometimes involve homosexuals

"conservative talk radio" = they tell you that you should hate all Democrats because they hate freedom and hate America, and they call their listeners "dittoheads" and "Great Americans" because they all parrot their jingoistic nonsense

The reason TrekFlatland has changed his tune is that he just got his paycheck from the government.

it couldn't have been the government... the building didn't fall down... [/quote]

The building didn't fall down because this was a missile, not bombs.  Like the Pentagon.  Right?

Re: aircraft crashes into building in nyc.... posted on 2006-10-12 08:04:50

I am not going to do it, because it would wind up being disrespectful to those who died.  It was a tragedy.  BUT, I guarantee you that a "Loose Change" type movie could be worked up (with scary music and everything) that would "prove" this was some evil government plot, and be 100% as convincing.

the government launched a rocket in there. no ifs ands or buts about it.
You cant see a plane, and its quoted that no plane should even be in the area.

Rotors didn't work that badly, and they weren't that heavy.  The problem was that your cables would break all the time.

Re: Bill Clinton on Fox News posted on 2006-09-26 11:45:46

Al Franken had the best idea--he'd run for president with Bill Clinton as his running mate (which would be legal), serve one day, and then resign.

Old school (pre-scuffing and rolling) tricks which to me seem "cool" even by today's standards:

flail boomerangs/hanggliders etc.
quick spin
decades/double decades etc.
backwards decades
megaspins
undertaker

OK, I've been away from things for a while and all, but this is the strangest "flatland" thread I have ever experienced..?
