i run an eastern atom, one of the cheapest threaded stems on danscomp, and it has only slipped on me once, and that was when i ran into a pole at 15 mph.i've had it for about 2 1/2 months now, but ride prolly 10 times in 1 month regularley, and as long as u keep everything down tight it works really good. http://www.danscomp.com/370179.php?cat=PARTS

I dont really have good judgment on that, but i would say 250. but then what parts u got on there beside the seat and brake cable?

I am on the bigger side of My 2005 Eastern paydirt 18.5''.I am considering getting a new bike.the one i have been aiming for is a WTP Bold 19.5. any other suggestions? my budget is about $300 or somewhere around there.
