| Oh and if ya wanna know how much your bike weighs. Go to your local vetrinary office. If they are nice like the one near me you can use the scale they use to weigh animals. They are pretty damn accurate. Cuz it told me my bike was 24.9lbs wich is 24lbs14ounces. So it was 2 ounces off the actual weight. | |

i think you guys that say that your bike weighs in at 21 pounds fail to mention that its like a freaking bmx track bike, or you are just a liar, or you are rich and dished the money for the eastern TI grim reaper... I just dropped 1400 bucks on a whole new custom complete at the end of last year and yea, I bought some hella nice, light parts. the frame on the other hand (macneil deuce deuce) is weighing in at 6lbs 5ozs, but hey I'm tall as hell and I needed it. but yea my bike, without brakes, and two pegs is hittin' just under 26 pounds. no TI parts,14mm axles, S&M fork and bars, 36hole 3 cross lacing, pivitol seat/post...shes a lanky beast and heavier than my last bike actually but then again that frame was a trail frame with no pegs with a 21 and a 1/4 inch toptube.. bottom line... heat treating, butting, 7000 series aluminum, magneisium, kevlar beads... it's what makes new parts equal in strength to older parts yet lighter.
hit me up sometime and check my rig out for yourself......www.Myspace.com/ghostinhisshell its time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum.

I just weighed my bike yesterday. 23.32 lbs (I used a fancy scale for weighing produce). The bike is built as follows: Fly Tierra 20.6" Macneil ID forks with 990 mounts (could be swapped to something lighter to hit the 22's) Macneil Silencer Bars Tall WTP Stem WTP Headset Macneil Fashionably light front peg Tech 77 lever United Grips and Plastic plugs KMC 410H Chain Kink 22T sprocket Macneil Conjoined Cranks (CrMo spindle which I could go Ti to get lighter) Odyssey plastic pedals Macneil Seatpost (the longer one I like my seat high) Macneil SL seat Odyssey linear cable Fly Tierra Seat clamp Macneil BB Wheels are: Alex Supra B 36H chrome front and back black spokes Primo mix 8t and N4 front Kenda tubes Fit FAF-K tires Fly bikes Rear Peg Hombre Rear Brake with fiesta pack And yes it was expensive but I love it.
