Is it really necessary to have a bike that weighs in at 24 lbs. I can understand like 27+ but i think 24 is really sacrificing strength for weight. Well thats my 2cents anyways. Dance like you're going to save the whales, you fucking hippies.  | |

| Yeah so my bike is about 24 pounds ish and i dont think i am sacrificing any strength. I love the feeling of a light bike. I was like a lot of you saying ohh man up dont be a pussy but really, light bikes just are better, and with the technology we have now, why not?

i think my bike weights somewhere between 32-34 lbs It depends how heavy the rider is too I would think. I weigh like 125-130 and so i prolly put less stress on my bike than a 175 lb rider. And lighter makes it straight up easier to do alot of stuff. BAN SC_rider(put it in ur sig join me) | |

| I think you guys overestimate how heavy old style street bikes weigh. My bike has front and rear Supra E hoops, a 7lbs frame, heavy forks, stock steel pegs, heavy 4pc bars and burly cranks, and it is 37lbs which aint that heavy really. 50lbs bmx bikes...i doubt it. Leave me alone. | |

My old frame was 7lbz 13os, those old forks were in the 50-60 oz range.. parts were burly.50+.. no 40+ yes
