Atreyu's new album is pretty dope, check it out

See, I really didnīt care for it besides like a couple tracks.  I still think Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses, is most definitely the best of theirs.  To each his/her own though, of course.

Darkest Hour
Shadows Fall
Scary Kids Scaring Kids

i apoligize for my last comment, i thought they were emo. sorry.
i never really listened to them but now that i do, they're not that bad.
yay.

and its fags like you who just say something about a band which you knew nothing about t just cuz your some cool hardcore kid, isnt anyone ever going to learn that everyone is different, aaa durrrrr, people like different things,if everyone listened to hardcore and dressed the same as you and did all the same things it would be boring, think about it,who cares what music people listen to,you sit there and say oh i cry my self to sleep and my parents hate me  trying to make fun of an emo band who is actually christian metal then that just says that your that low that it annoys you that someone listens to something you hate, kind of like how "cool" kids pick on "geeks",they think they are better than them, and they want to feel cooler when people laugh at what they said about the geek,or want them to agree

Underoath is very much not hardcore. they could be post-hardcore. they don't have breakdowns. he sing/screams. and they're lyrics don't speak of hardships, friends, or other things like that. that and my sister likes them.

And besides spelling, Unearth is NOTHING like Underoath. Unearth is a bunch of dirty metal-core dudes that shred guitar, and somehow went maintsteam-ish. I don't think post-hardcore bands play guitar solos, finger tap frenzies, and throw jagermiester (sp?) into the crowd.

Seriously, the perception of hardcore has lost SO much that it sickens me. this new Bedlight for blues, bullet for my valentine, fall of troy stuff makes me want to strangle people. It sounds like jumbled garbage. PIG DESTROYER makes more sense than some of that nonsense, and he most screams about rape, torture, and necrophilia.

Hardcore has little side things (which annoy me, but in a sense make things easy.) theres posi-core, 'tough-guy' hardcore, straight-edge hardcore. these are all minor variations to the same concept. POST-Hardcore isnt hard. its soft. it should be called soft-core. ahhh

scene kids!!!!!!

I would say a band you should definitely check out if you like underOATH is Alexisonfire. The earlier stuff has a lot more screaming than the later stuff, so it kinda comes down to personal preference on whether you'd like to hear screaming that is enhanced with melodic singing or if you'd rather hear melodic singing enhanced with screaming. Old CD-Alexisonfire Self-Titled/ New CD- Watch Out...and I believe they also have a new CD coming out soon.
