	At The Drive-In The Mars Volta I hate the Mars Volta. I saw them live, unfortunatly, they opened for System of a Down (why? only god knows that planning) and they were the worse band I had ever had to sit through, for like an hour. Ironically the band that opened up, Bad Acid Trip, when they were playing I thought they were the worst band ever. Of course though I was in for a rude awakening when the Mars Volta came out. And the lead singer started singing (squeaking) and he sounded like freaking Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks. And they played the same song for like 30minutes, then they did a song cover (their best of the set) then they went back to playing another 25minute song, then finally god and his graciousness saved us from the noise. That was by far the worst concert I have ever been to, with Joan Jett and her god awful following of Nu-CaliforniaPunk crap bands on her label opening for her. I still like At the Drive-Ins, and Mars Volta studio stuff though. But because of that experience I will always just hate them, worst live band ever,

But because of that experience I will always just hate them, worst live band ever, imo, i thaught the mars volta was GREAT live. and why hate at the drive-in becuase of the singer form the mars volta? omar just played giutar and did some back up vocal stuff. it was all cedric on vox. weird cuz cedric plays guitar now for tmv...but yeah, both great bands, and i would have loved ot see atdi live!
