Sorry for the shameless self promotion here guys but some of You might like to give my band a quick listen, www.myspace.com/COAW if you fancy it.

Other than that for grind I recommend checking out The Kill, Narcosis and Discordance Axis, in my opinion three of the greatest grind bands to have ever existed, also Pig Destoryer make me grin uncontrollable and Tower of Rome, The Locust and HeWhoCorrupts are rather good too.

For Screamo type stuff I'd say La Quiete, The Death of Anna Karina, Joshua Fit for battle, Orchid, Ampere (Ex-Orchid), Hot cross, Raein, Daitro.

Or if ya fancy something a little noisier maybe go for some Crestfallen, Phoenix Bodies, Usurp Synapse.

There's loads of really generic metal about these days but Cryptopsy, Botch, Drowning Man and At the Gates are classics! an more people really should appreciate Dillinger Escape Plan and Burnt By The Sun.

A coupla mates bands bands that are worth checking out are Rolo Tomassi and D Rail, awesome!
