ive only had 2 stolen bikes. there is a 'ghetto' where i live, but its fairly small. i live in the upper-class pat of town, so they dont come up here much.

my first one was my first ever BMX bike. nothing good, probly worth like 50$ wal-mart bike. lock got cut with bolt cutters and they took it as i was in detention.

second one was a BRAND NEW GT fly. black and red, very nice bike actually. left it outside a friends house fo 15 mins, came back out and it was gone.

i have KGB bars as well. low crossbar, xero sweep (i get madf issues with my wrists when i run sweep), and good, comfy 7.3" high. plus they look goooooood.

ive been 'sitting on it' since the start of may when i turned 18 lol.

and im not asking for a solid tatoo, just some suggestions to see if theres anything i like, or it could spark an idea in my head.

well, ivegot $$$ laying around,a nd ive always wanted a tatoo. almost got one today but i have no idea what to get. any suggestions?

im not looking for some tribal or chinese or japanese shit that i dont understand, and nothing religious, and nothing that "speaks to me and makes me feel emo and deep".

i want one that looks cool, that isnt stupid, and that i wont regret the next day. ive searched for pics on google, but none really appeal to me. if you guys have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

PS: dont give me BS about "not getting them because they are stupid". im a teenager. i AM stupid, and ill do stupid things if i want to :-D

thast pretty much how they work. ur not supposed to take the spindle out with the cups on the fram

i wouldnt be too bumed out...u dont know whether the damages was there or during installatio or with u banging it with hammers

i never smashed the dam thing with a hammer, i tapped it a couple times to loosen it up. 4 or 5 taps with a hammer doesnt strip half the threads on a BB cup.

and bully i suppose your right about the BB assembely not FF's fault. 99% of all boxed bikes to be assembeled are done at the factory; requiring only brakes, handlebars, front wheel, pedals, grips, seat, and other small things to be assembeled afterwards.

my cransk are the generic brand from wtp called salt. ive been riding for 4 years and been working in a shop, btu no i havent seen an unsealed euro crank.

oh well, i got it off. its sealed, and it did have the 2 small flanges on the axle. problem was it was just REALLY stuck in there. i had to take out the cups to get the spindle out.

ive lost a little more faith in flatlandfuel today. the right cup and bearings were mint, perfect condition. but the left cup was missing threads about halfway up, and i saw what looks like a clamp or Pliar marks ON the threads. when i got the bike it was missing parts for the rear brakes and had a huge paint chip on the BT. the left cup was so mashed in there that a regular BB tool wouldnt even work. i had to use vice-grips around the edge of the cup to be able to unscrew it. luckily they are crappy aluminum cups and the threads stripped before the actually BB of the frame did.

as far as i know euro doesnt come in unsealed, and i think it shoudl slide out as well. to my knowledge theirs probably a spacer in between the cups that its tight on the spindle and stopping it from coming out easily.

im off to grab a rubber mallet now to see if i can loosen it up with that. a little less harmful on the cups and bearings.

i worked in a bike shop for over a year, but never had to service a Euro BB.

right now im trying to get the spindle out of my WTP Salt 3 piece cranks. 19mm euro bb.

my question is how do i remove the spindle? i have both arms off, and it seems like theres 2 different sizes of sprocket adaptor, one on each side. they both seem stuck on.

i whacked the spindle with a hammer a couple times to loosen it up, but its still in there good. do i have to unscrew the cups and everything? im trading the frame and we are gunna trade BB's too to save us some effort, but only if i can get my dam spindle out first. any help??

i ride at my local park, and theres a lot of asshole skaters there. whenveer they are dicks, i just tell them to go play with their wood and leave me alone.

then i wait till they are doing a trick and tailwhip into their shins. i'm an asshole :-D

half the videos i see today are just wallrides, barspins, tailwhips, big gaps, and handrails.

but wallrides can be pretty dam sick if you can dial them.

barspins are just cool, no matter who you are.

tailwhips rox my sox.

gaps are only good if they are over somethign cool. gapping across a narrow street on curbs is not cool.

handrails are meh. i prefer ledges down stairs personally.

youll never be a success until you can do backflips. everyone will taunt you and remind you that you suck forever and ever unless you backflip. right now, you SUCK. because you cant backflip.

i can do backflips.
