i was always a die-hard winamp fan, till i found that WMP was 10x better, but i found something even more freakin' awesome.
go to www.download.com and get JetAudio. best media player i have ever used. smooth, fast, has a tool-bar mode, easy to use, simple yet diverse. just though i'de let you know.

Re: Day VS. Night posted on 2006-09-20 10:40:22
i never notice much difference from heat, but i cant ride at night very well at all. the shadows throw me off so badly. i can spin steams and mccircles fast as hell during the daytime, but i can hardly get into them at night.
turbiinning hitchhikers. posted on 2006-09-20 10:38:42
heeeeeey.
i can roll and get into and out of b/w hikers with ease, and starting to do forward ones now. im just wondering where to put my weight or how i can turbine them?
a couple times ive been spinning a mccircles and the frame has gone up a bit on its own, but i cant seem to pull the frame up and keep my balance from a mccircle. any tips? ive always loved how spinning and turbining hikers looked, ide love to learn them.
i spin counterclockwise, right foot on the inside, and i pull up the frame with my right hand. i may have to learn to pull it up with my left hand soon i guess.
Re: Trick of the Month for September posted on 2006-09-20 10:34:10
my trick of the month to larn is gunna be spastic bw peg manuals. spinnign like a megaspin but just by turbining and throwing weight in the right spots. i can pull it up forward, turbine and get 2-3 spins, but its so hard to keep it going. looks freakin sweet though :)
Re: Hey computer gurus... posted on 2006-09-18 14:00:57
solution to your problem:
use Firefox as your browser
go to download.com and get JetAudio as your media player.
firefox is faster and blocks everything bad
jetaudio is just 10x smoother, faster, cleaner, and mroe reliable then WMP

i rode a USED pair for about 6 months, and they were STILL going strong when i gave them to a friend. not grippy enough for me personally, but nice and thick which was nice.
Re: Attraction is a privelege not a right posted on 2006-09-15 20:06:31
attraction is stupid. i met a girl (i think her name is ashley) at the skatepark like a week ago, and shes nto the prettiest, but shes pretty darn cool.
we ended up kissing tonight, then we took a drive, and we stopped off on a dirt road. good times :)
funniest part of the night was when we were just about to finish, and some guy in a pickup truck drove by, flashed his lights, and honked at us. windows were all fogged up, light was on low. i wonder how he knew :-o
anyway, had to brag, sorry lol.

Would someone mind truly clearing up the difference between a G-Turn and just Turbining from backwards to forwards, because I always thought a G-Turn was a front wheel 360 endo thing...

have you seen pro video runs where they just spin steamrollers and karl cruisers over and over really fast?
a G-turn'd trick is when you are going normal forward, then do a full 360 degree, then keep going forward.

Steam turbine is a bw to fw. G turn is a trick.. To go from bw to fw you have to lean in and when you do like 270 you lean out and the bike folows. I'll have to make a video to show you...

i think he means Gturn as in a 360 degree rotation then keep going forward, like half of the pros use as their runs.

someone tried to bitch at me for dating a girl 4 years younegr then me, so i just politly asked them "Do i know you?"
they said "No."
so i turned up my earphoens and went right on back to riding. it pissed her off so much :) didnt even look back at her
Re: bw to fw steamroller practicing for 3 month... posted on 2006-09-12 08:07:20
when you are going for the G-turn, kick your foot in towards the bike, then pull it far out once youve gotten to fw. the kick in will give it a spin, and the pull out will stop the spin.

about 2 weeks ago i was in the shower, and i had a revalation. i decided that i haetd the way i was, and that iw as going to change myself to be the man i always wanted to be. im not going into all the details of what ive changed (and fucking LOVING IT!)l
my parents and friends are used to me being the guy who walked around in mostly black, blank t shirts that are too big, shitty boring clothing, baggy jeans, no jewlarry.
now im sporting tighter bike-related shirts, relaxed jeans, a silver cross, and some actual style. im VERY different from the old me, and ive received nothign but compliments, and i feel great.
the moral of this story is tight t-shirts and sexy jeans amke women want you.
Re: Makes me want to scream... posted on 2006-09-08 21:32:59
i have trouble rolling them forwards as well, but i recently realized how easy they are to roll backwards from a squeeker with brakes. i can roll and balance them as long as i keep speed.
Re: wtf do i do in the winter posted on 2006-09-08 19:21:12
i ride in my garage, ad theres a small area thats got a roof over it near the skatepark, just big enough for a small session with 2 or 3 flatters.
