the only thing that really matters is that you buy the right bike for you. you need to do some research into top tube lengths and your own height and weight.
just because you complete doesnt mean the parts are right unless you read up on what you need and want. i mean they have that "subrosa" complete that is upwards of 1100 dollars, which is a really super nice bike, but that doesnt matter if you get the 20.5" toptube and your like 6'2" tall or vice versa. it is also personal prefence. though if you like tall bars, you like tall bars. if you like a short rear ends or if you like to keep your stem flipped over and low. when you do break parts you have to take into account that you should beef up that part of your bike too

that one is on sale for 399.99. nice, light bike.
how tall are you? it's a 20.5, it is a little short for dirt in my opinion.

this premium products bike is probably your best bet, its a sweet bike. $399.99

at $449.99, it's just out of your price range, but worth that 50 bucks. definetly the best $$$ to bike ratio i could find. but again that We The People,(the first one) is a better deal at $399.99 on sale

dude the key to this and every trick is repetition. but if you are afraid to do them after a few or just get fustrated, try a different, new trick. that usually gets me stoked to do something that i am trying to get dialed. and remember that you must try things within your own capabilities. if you just try to bomb a 15 stair handrail and your not ready for it, you usually just bust your mother fucking ass...what im really trying to say is think of progression, not some stellar trick that you just have to try and try until you hurt yourself.
heres a tip for bar spins, try and just pinch your seat and keep your feet on the ground, standing still. then just spin them until you get it everytime like 20 times in a row or something ya know, or do it everyday for like 10 minutes straight. get your mind use to the movement so that the muscle movements are familiar to your brain. that how i learned tailwhips, i just stood there and whipped it, and then tryed to jump on until i could do that consistantly, then i tryed it on a bank for a few weeks.. i mean if you feel uncomfortable doing something then you arent ready to do it out of a bowl or over a gap. also, what "everythingwentblack" said about mentally imagining yourself doing them is very, very true.

a thing i always stress to people about weight that most dont think about is tires and tubes. if you are riding some thorn resistant tubes and some gnarly big front and back tires that is a lot of weight you really dont need. i ride the thin tubes, i get flats but whatever. tires can be light and tuff. an example, the khe folding park tire is like 10 oz...i just got the shadow undertaker folding tire(yeah i know im a hypocrite) but it is still really heavy cos i got the 2.25" but then again, my bike is like 24.5lbs now. but like i said thorn resistant tubes weigh like a freakin pound alone and thats an easy pound and a half of weight savings right there. if you buy two 1.85" tires you can easily save another pound if your riding big tires. I recently got a pivatol seat/post combo and saved a pound there too.if you did all that, its probably like a hundred bucks but like a good 3 or 4 pounds maybe depending on your current parts...
