It's hardly what I would call a trend. If more pros started doing it, it would filter down into the masses. But until that happens everyones going to be keeping "those long things" on the end of their axles.  :-)

I'm sorry I should have clarified. Riding pegless is what's trendy now with the ramp brats and street rats.
