Etnies are an awful company. Look how they treat riders at their parks. If the bmx shoe market decreased in value to them then they would drop their team - their foundations are oin skateboarding. Lotek is a good company for us because their foundations are in bmx. Saying that, I wouldn't buy their shoes at the moment because they are too bulky.

Etnies do heaps for BMX!
I personally am on my 5th pair of Etnies callicuts. They kick ass. They really are that good Cartman~!!!!
But I don't want to take away from Terry's thread. The fact is... I am on a good thing when it comes to shoes, and I will stick with it... as long as Etnies keep making size 11.5!!!

Yeah, it does sound ridiculous when you put it like that, however dude......
I still have my old solo, which I will send to him to be be fixed (free) after I receive my new one, so I will end up with 2 frames that should last for a good amount of time.  :wink: I just like the idea of that.  :-)

My old setup weighed in at around 8kg... about 17.5lbs (stupidly light....I know) but I have a few heavier (stronger) bits I plan to put on this new frame. :lol:

If I remember correctly, the solo lasted for around 7months before I noticed the headtube gusset coming away from the headtube. The frame would still be rideable, I just don't want to completely destroy it.

Here's a pic not long after I noticed it cracking.  :-P
