I think griOt said something about this before, the tt length is incorporating the offset seatpost, if I'm right...  :|

Because how low and slim the frame is, you might get a longer tt measurement if the measurement was more horizontal... i.e.. from the headtube to about 1/4 of the way up an imaginary seatpost.

It would have to feel more like a 18.5"tt I reckon, but I'm just lookin at the pic here and comparing to other frames...

I don't feel so bad about asking about BBs now x3
Well, I am a girl, so I'll blame my lack of knowledge of bike parts on that!!
Nice pic clionb! take note you pair..  :-D (Deca, arts216) clionb posted a pic of a crank and a crank spindle that ONLY fits in a Eurobb. smallest of the lot, threaded end cups etc, etc.

Check a few frame pics out at flatlandfuel.com to see a few frames with euro bb's some that come to mind ... any of the late KGB's... any of the late quamens any st martin frame.

Compare these pics to one out of the FBM equilibrium 06, see how much larger the 'Mid' bb is? Similar to the (nearly obsolete in flat frames)..original USA bb.. but that's another story!!

End of lesson.. you can both go and play now...

Re: Severe Balance Issues posted on 2006-06-09 21:23:42

You run front brakes? correct? Have you learnt (or learning) how to tailwhip? (jam the brake, foot on the peg, kick the bike around with your other foot, and land back on the toptube/pedal?). This can be very beneficial in learning how to get back on the bike, especially when trying to get back on out of a fork wheelie or something like that....
When you almost roll to a stop, grab the brake and give it a little kick, followed by some controlled arm movement, leg over and pedal away.

It gives a bit of strength to your arms and you soon realise ALOT of moves come from precisional upperbody strength. You could also try the walk around,... :|

...by the way, which I still havn't dialled!!!

Re: TOOL posted on 2006-06-09 01:28:29

I did it as well, but fuck me its hard to get them to play at perfect timing, the amount of assing about involved was ridiculous :| But, I managed to get it to work.... pretty much a shadow of each other as it got later into the song(s).
It would sound so much better if you could actually put Viginti Tres followed by Wings for Marie, and somehow record 10,000 days 'over the top' in perfect timing. So you could listen to it as one song out of the one stereo.

There still has to be a few more secrets in this album, ...so I'm still looking!

the 14mm nankai is really just a 3/8 with adapters. and from what i understand nankai isnt planing on makeing a sealed version anytime soon

but yeah ive been checking out the geisha....i really want a fc on 14mm so hopefully ill get my hands on one eventually.

should be sweet, i say go for it
Dude, the Geishas run adapters as well, not quite the same set up, but its not a 14mm axle all the way through. The thread that runs into the hollow internal axle is the same as the 3/8 ones. So, the axle is the same in the middle, just with thicker ends.

Re: Sprained or Broken? posted on 2006-06-08 18:41:23

I went riding last night and feeling overconfident, I tried to K kruiser bar flip.. trying to land switch footed.. (right foot, left peg) when I landed on the side of my foot on the peg..

snap, crackle, pop.. :-o

I rolled over on my ankle and went down in a screaming heap, it hurt so fucking bad, and still does.. I immediately lost feeling in my foot, it felt like I twisted it straight off. it's not overly swollen so I hope it's only sprained.

It' about the second time on this foot it has happened, I'm going to be off for prob a week, just resting it to see if it will come good.

My ankles are my achillies heel,... if you understand! :|
