Re: rim help please? posted on 2006-09-10 15:49:49

If I had the chance, I'd ride an Oddy Hazard back wheel in a second.
But if I had to make a choice on a wheel.

Sun Black label 48H, laced to either a Snafu Hermosa hub, or Oddy Hazard.

Snafu frame? posted on 2006-09-10 15:45:41

So yeah. I've heard rumors about a while back Snafu designed/made a frame, but it never got past the designing/prototype stage.
Anyone know more about this?

See.
Some of the best gloves are mechanics gloves.
They work way good.

Any trick? posted on 2006-09-07 18:41:00

If there was any trick you could learn instantly, what would it be?
I think for me it would either be a 360 flip whip, or a 360 no-foot can whip.

Yeah.
Pretty much, if you're coughing up blood...
Seek medical attention.

Re: funny rims posted on 2006-09-04 05:24:49

...People put stereos on lowrider bikes all the time. And it never gets too hot or any of that.
They use trailers.

anyone notice fraust again bein a whore for snafu?  I love the tree sprocket, had an animal lite before that.  as for the sprockets themselves, smaller is better, just stronger, less to bend, i dont like smaller than 30t just because stress on the chain.  one thing i like about the tree is 7075 aluminum, stronger, so anything made with that.  no idea if the shadows are any good though.

...Yeah. I'm a whore. But at least I'm not repping Next or Huffy.
But don't get me wrong.
Huffy can make some sik bikes, tell you what.

Hey.
That spindle looks alot like the cranks I ran for a while.
...
Don't run a tight chain.
...Trust me.
Them broken sproket bolts are an unholy bitch to get out.

Imma keep this short.
What makes you happy other than BMX?
I think the answer for me would be best expressed via the medium of a picture.

Re: New Bike posted on 2006-09-03 15:47:46

Integral Slauson.
But I'm not sure.
Whether to get it in black or grey.
But anyways.

I've ridden Snafu Bars, grips, stems, cables, chainwheels and tires.
I'd have to say that each one of those parts are quality pieces.
For tires though,
I'd rather go for Hoffman Skidmarks or Primo Walls.
I ride brakeless with a Hoffman skidmark.
No signs of wear so far.
The same can almost be said for my shoes.

ok 1 more question when u whip ur bike do u kick it with ur foot at all or juss whip ur bars in a motin?plz tips thx
[/quote]

Both.
Now you don't want to whip your bars too hard.
Because in the air, 30 pounds is alot harder to hold onto.

Re: Okay, this is weird..... posted on 2006-09-03 15:31:05

Generally, I wouldn't be conscerned about it.
Until the water turns to blood.
Then here's what you do.
Move.
With a swiftness.

Backtrail X2 frame
414 Industries dirt bars
Fit grips
414 Industries stubby embroidered seat
X-games Cranks(On a scale from 1-10, I give 'em a 9, seriously.)
Primo tenderizer pedals
Stolen 36t chainwheel
Jalco rim laced to Hoffman hub in front
Alex Supra-E pro laced to Redline hub in back.
Fly back tire.
Hoffman Skidmark back tire
...
Not that bad for dirt if you ask me.
But I don't ride dirt that much.
Gonna get an Integral Slauson pretty soon here.
