dude your company is going nowhere. I like your freewebs site and the t shirts designed in ms paint. reall good looking.

Bruno Bike co is a good name too.

Seriously, flaming on bikeguide is good when your trying to promote a bike company. Your like 12, wait until your older to try something like that.

That explains the initial question =X

I weld also - for cages and general race car gizmos.

Well, basically, if you TIG it, it has a higher chance of being a good weld, basically.  You can actually SEE if each weld is good.

Theoretically, a good MIG weld is as good, but you can't really see if each weld is good.  I mean, you can usually tell if it's good or not, but not the same as TIG.

TIG basically is a better weld if you have a good welder, and looks a lot better too.

Don't accidently roll into any crib hoods!

Re: Worst riding injury posted on 2006-06-14 23:38:22

About 7 years ago I was riding to a spot and tried to bunny hop a random fire hydrant and went over the bars.
I broke my knee cap in half and had to have a couple knee surgeries - one to put in pins and wires, one to take them out.
So far that's the worst that's happened, but I've just been riding on and off since then.  Planning on riding more since I finally got a new ride.  Probably gonna get some new cool injury.

That frame is nuts.  I gotta come down to the shop =P

Haha, I like the couch pic.

And thanks for the comments on my T-1.  I need to break it in a lot though, make it look more like my old S&M (couple days of dropping it and running into stuff should be ok =P)

My old bike (now my girlfriend's - she's running a lawnmower chain, so that accounts for the slack [tight spots]) - S&M Next Gen. Dirtbike:

Too bad, he'd be better if he spun left.  Everyone knows that, come on be logical.

You can just call them.  I went by there a while ago and literally almost everyone there was on the phone.

Observe kids, this is what homeschool does to your brain...

Re: Suplies List posted on 2006-06-03 11:53:16

That's pretty much impossible to figure out without know what you plan to use to put it together.  Are you just going to bolt it together?  Are you going to weld it?  Are you going to MIG it, TIG it, etc.
For example when I do a cage (car) I usually will go through a couple electrodes and I don't know how much rods etc or wire depending.  Then also you have to account for gas, etc etc.  And all those ramps would cost a bit more than caging a car.  You need a lot of tubing and a lot of sheet metal =]. Hahah, good idea.  The problem is this teacher is really strict on his guidelines.  For instance for citations you can only use either APA or Chicago 14th B.  Nothing else.  Anyway, haha appreciate the comment.

So I'm writing this paper... posted on 2006-05-31 15:10:42

I'm writing a 10-15 page paper for my Metro L.A. class, and I've hit about 8.5 pages and my brain stopped working.  It's on the L.A. rail system present and future (includes light, heavy, and high speed rail).  Does this happen to anyone else?  I hate it.  I'll write a shitload of pages in like 2 or 3 hours, then BAM!  No more brain.

Re: new front wheel posted on 2006-05-31 15:06:50

I don't know if this is an appropriate comment, but now I'm sort of hesitant to recommend Primo rims.  This weekend I was riding some banks with some old friends (Parks - the one in almost all of Brian Castillo's parts in videos haha) and I dented a Hula Hoop rim trying to fufanu some ledge, which was pretty bizarre.  Maybe I just got a bad rim or something?  I was running Animal tires with about 100psi in them, 48 hole of course.
Then again on my old bike I used a primo rim in the rear and had no troubles for about 3 years.

wow 2 inches off . .  i just got some mc neil lite bars there pretty nice i think i might cut half inch off or so i hit me knee's here and there with bar spins
My point was that you can cut them down, not that 2 inches is a lot.

Re: Mybike posted on 2006-05-31 12:56:43

Just for this, I'm going to find a camera and take pictures of my knee x-rays and pins etc (yea I kept them =P I keep all my medical souvenirs).  Hopefully I remember.

My buddies got S&M Slambars. There really wide, I like em. but it makes it hard to do barspins and things like that. I second checkin your local bike shop for something that feels good.

But i'm pretty tall too, i'm about 6'0" so I think i'm gonna get some skim milks
Most people cut their bars to suite the width they want.  I still have the bike with the slam bars (gave it to my g/f) and they're as narrow as my T1 bars (I believe I cut around 2.5ish inches off each side of the T1 O.o).

Re: Good backpacks? posted on 2006-05-31 12:51:35

I've had my UGP backpack for...7 years.  Wait maybe 8..there is a grey area.  Anyway, it's still in pretty good shape.  So ya, I dig it.  Also, not sure if this is still true, but most UGP products are made in the USA.  Kinda neat.
