Free Fit chain tensioners posted on 2006-08-04 22:06:01

I'm rockin' some new Quamen pops, so don't need these anymore.

Local pick preferred or shipped at buyer's expense.  What you see is what you get - at the moment I can't find the alternate bolts (new they come with a few different size bolts - has the longer bolts in them now).  On one tensioner, the first thread is a little stripped, but rest are fine and works fine.

3/8" or 14mm, as you can see.

The price is free.

Located in Los Angeles.

do any of you pay attention to the dates in the threads?

You must be talking about SomeRandomKid, since that is the longest gap between posts.  Which is odd, because this isn't a date dependent topic.

Re: Tips for spine transfers? posted on 2006-07-31 11:50:48

I would say you should practice riding more before you try the spine - it sounds like you're not real comfortable on your bike - please take no offense.  Also, I worry about the people saying "push your nose down hard", because he may misinterpret that and actually hit it on the top - because it's more of the typical "nose dive" style, which you don't really push down 'hard' on your front end.  I personally usually hit it relatively straight and swing the back end of the bike out.  Any dirt riders know what I mean.  Sometimes it feels good to hit it slightly to the right and swing out facing the opposite direction, but I think that is more a style thing.
I'd say practice jumping in general a little more, and the spine should come a little more naturally.

i hope that doesnt get anyone started on those dumb fuckin jokes again.

walker texas ranger is a fucking great show.
i hope you die in a fire.

and to the dick who tries to act cool,

your first post was very "OMG BLACK PEEPS RIDRING IS SO KEWL OMG!!!!"
if you were only talking about animal in a way that you could somehow connect because your black and bmxer as well, thats almost worse when i think about it. Why do you have to be friends with someone else who is black? why do you give a shit if someone who rides is black or not? I was trying to not be a asshole and end this petty argument.
Quit trying to make a judgement of me because you filmed yourself flipping your hair. Go back and read that thread, everyone agreed that it was pretty gay. Why film yourself being a idiot? your just like all the douchbags on youtube.

you keep saying shit about i wont understand you cause your black. You sound like every other fucking black guy. "Oh the crackers neva unda stand me cuz they nawt black". How is your life any diffrent than mine?
[/quote]

Why are you debating this?  I thought this was a worthless post anyway?  Right?  =\
Yea anyway, Animal team rocks.

Well, you should honestly take advantage of the rain and build some more.  After a couple days of working, you'll notice it start to dry up until you can ride it again.

Yea I thought I may have been talking about a different one - it's on the train section near the end.  It's a pretty cool gap.

Yea he hits a little cement ramp type thing, gaps the sidewalk, the street, and then lands on the other side of the street.  It's the best free dvd ever.  Wait, I got it in Dig O.o

What the fuck? Creative process? You're telling me that those two words somehow to the process of you selecting THAT song for the video?

I know you're just trying to give some faces to some names and get some footage of some local riders, but don't tell me shit about the "creative process" when you put some dirty south hip hop in your videos.

Why do you care SOOOO much to keep this silly argument going?  Who cares what song he uses?

Be careful - looks like it's in the front yard - might be a big advertisement for kids to get hurt on it when you're not at home.

Since I've been here for a while now, I thought I should comment for the other guys posting in here...

There is some crazy street out here in downtown.  Like the most random things that are cool.  There's a lot near city hall etc.

Crazy shit.

I used to use hair spray, but I haven't seen any around for about the past 10 years, so now I used air compressor.  Sometimes if I'm extra lazy, I use spray paint.

Re: weight lost posted on 2006-07-02 22:00:25

For my old bike (now my gf is using it) I did the following (although I completely agree with everyone else, I'm going to post anyway):
Cut seat post
Milled down the chain tensioners (older primo ones - took about 4mm or so off each side and the back end)
Plasma cut a couple chunks out of the sprocket (the solid kink sprocket [44t])
Cut  1/2" off the end of the pegs (I made them a while ago 1/2" long on purpose, but decided it wasn't worth having that length)

All that made a little bit of a difference.  I'm honestly not sure how worth it the work was, but it was fun so it's all good =]  Pics are in the street bike thread, it's the grey S&M.

Oh yea, I'm not sure how much weight it is, but you could feel it at first.  Now I can't even tell.  I would only do stuff like that if you're very bored.  Otherwise, ride more and it'll be a-ok with the weight you have now.
