Re: New bike help, something for flatland. posted on 2006-09-01 08:33:26

Get the Signal.... it is the best complete bike for the money.  It is actually designed for flatland, Geometry wise.  Those Geometry changes should make a big difference in making tricks and controlling the bikes momentum easier for you.  They have the new '07 model DK signal @ flatlandfuel.  IMO that is gonna be your best bet.

My brother plays poker all the time, he has a Pope figurine he carries w/ him for luck.  One day he was paying in a tournament and he dropped the figurine and broke his hand off....  He lost and blamed it on the pope's injury.    :-D

We glued it back together that night and everything is ok now.

Re: how long do ya session for? posted on 2006-08-30 08:24:41

I ride about 2 hrs daily....  mainly by myself
on the weekends it is any where from a couple of  2  hr sessions or one 4-5 hr session.
Lately I have been riding w/ Popatheart on Sundays for about 2-4 hrs  depending on the heat and Humidity.  I have to say I look forward to riding with him.... after riding alone all week it feels good to have someone to talk to and we ussually work on some of the same stuff which I feel pushes me.  Sometimes my sessions get cut shorrter than I would like because the heat/Humidity just drains my energy.  on average I would say I ride at least 2hrs daily- give or take

Peace

Re: The Hoffman Big Daddy is BACK! posted on 2006-08-29 19:08:31

I agree that It should have it's own new name....  I'm sure it will be a part of flatland history just as well as the Big Daddy...  I can't wait to see one....  I am very curious as to the Geo and Gussets and whatnot....

I was in the hospital yesterday w/ a stomach ulcer.  The Weather was magnificent Today.  :-D
I rode today even though I wasn't supposed to.  I really just couldn't pass up the nice low temps and the sun....  The low tonite is Low of 67*    I rode for about an hour or so @ noon.... and then went out this afternoon and rode for a couple of hours.....  I started doing spinning No-handed Backward  steams...  That is my biggest accomplishment for today.  I also got my copy of "Create" yesterday,  That video is.....  amazing!!!
Peace
