the flash placement is strange, but overall, the image looks better to me with the slope there. It's nice to be able to see surroundings
Are you saying that you like it better on the first image with the blind white light at the bottom of the picture?

Overall, great angle, great everything, but you've got your flash setup real bad and the quality needs work. Great Job though.

Also, id like to let you nkow that the fact that its a 1000 camera doesnt make a difference when its pixelated to shit. It looks to me more like something on *auto-timer* on a smaller (yet equal to your "1000 dollar" digital camera) digi cam. Id say that if you have a 1000 digital camera, then you most likley have a shoe which you can throw an external flash onto it. Hope it helps.

No offence dude, but if this guys got a 1000 dollar digital camera, then why the hell is he aiming his flash onto the GROUND infront of him and not onto you. Never the less, if you cropped it, and uploaded it properly, then there wouldnt be a problem here no would there...

Now the only problem that you have left with this picture is that when you look at it, you see that cement block standing out instead of you. make sure that your photographer aims his flash not at the ground, the cementblock, but at you, so that we see you, and mostly only you.

This is only my opinion...Now knowing this board, go ahead and flame me.

If he was just putting this onto a site and giving people credit for it, then id say effen fine, but comeon, hes pulling in hundreds of thousands of dollars by jumping around the net and taking other peoples creations and posting them as his own...come on now.

Flatland Magazine posted on 2006-02-16 15:16:22

Well guys, if you think about it, no small magazine is ever going to make it, writing articles, gathering pictures, etc means that you need to be making money, and unfortunatly, i dont think that if all of us bought a magazine from someone, that it would pay off for anyone. Not only that, but if you want to start something like this, then you would have to also have money to start off a magazine, and people working for you. In the end, it all comes out to money problems...just my input, however, if it does happen, my subscription is in the mail.
Khe Messerschmitt in the sale at flatlandfuel.com $289.99
Yeah, thats exactly what ive been looking at. Let me remind you however, that the "crappy bike" is not mine and was never mine, and after i moved ~3 years ago, i havent had a chance to hop on a bmx bike. Ive also hit up dans comp and taken a look at the *stolen* bike brand. Would any of those bikes be suitable for flat? Also, im 5 foot 9, so im wondering if there is anything as far as size goes that i should keep in mind.

Anyway, here are the bikes that ive been looking at:
EASTERN LOWDOWN BIKE 2006
HOFFMAN RHYTHM 18" BIKE 2006
FREE AGENT TRAIL DUSTER BIKE (2005)
BLACK EYE DE LA CRUZ BIKE

Im pretty sure that absolutly none of these bikes are worth flatland, but hey, i dont know much where im sitting. Ive also heard about this Yogurt bike brand. What price range are their bikes in?

Well, ive got to hand it to hoza, hes brought me back to flatland. I have been after flatland since i was 11 and 12 years old. I had been using a friends old walmart bike before i had moved ,and that suited me quite well, as i was pretty much just messing around, trying random things as i had never heard of "time machines" or any other terms like that. So well, i found myself in downtown atlanta looking for someone to hang out with during the time that im here, and hoza offered. Well, here is the deal. I live outside of philadelphia, with 2 tennis courts within a mile, and a commercial area a mile away from here, so i saw this as an opprotunity to start off flatlanding. Before i go ahead and break the piggy bank, i wanted to hop and here and ask around as of what bike would most likley suite me the best (right right, here is the part where you decide that this is worthless for you to be reading). Yes. I am on a budget, like most everyone else on here is. Unforunatly, my budget is somewhat (a lot) lower then most of everyone elses is, as im parked around $150-220ish usd. So, could anyone steer me towards a bike that would be good for me, or maybe some input on me even trying to flatland again?
