i really enjoyed that, one of the best vids iv seen in a while-
no hip-hop, no t shirts wrapped round heads, just a nice setting and a rider iv never seen before.

Re: How come more ams aren't moving up to pro? posted on 2006-09-06 12:45:28
flatland is bloody hard and getting dialled is even harder, like tj says most pros have been riding at that level for 5-10 yrs-they all know each other, its intimidating
and who wants to pay the high entry fee only to come 24th?

Backsweep will not make your wrists "better".However, it will prevent further damage. Zero backsweep is what kills your wrists, it's just not a natural position for your hands to be in. Mike S is going to be one old guy in alot of pain one day.
im sure any phisician will tell you doing repetitive movements on a childs bike is bad for your joints etc.
but mike S has been using his bar for at least 6 years maybe we should ask him how his wrists are?
after all hes the best man to ask
its just that i didnt expect to see marrti in a 10 yr old video-i didnt think he was that old,
sean peters, dolan ,osicka are all in there thirties,i aint disputing there not still ripping

Re: Yes, I ordered my bars. posted on 2006-08-20 08:04:50
i switched from sarvets 6.5 inch to 7 inch ditas and i much prefer them cos imdoing more walkaround stuff and barflips zero sweep is much better-obviously the sweep on sarvets feels much more of a natural wrist angle-but my bars are backwards 50% of the time so sweep is no good
