a hitchhiker is a lot easier balance point than a half hiker-
just keep practicing never give up on a trick
i leart hictchhikers with my opposite hand about a month ago it was like learning the whole trick again
it took me 4 days to pull it!

Re: Hitchhiker help posted on 2006-10-09 15:45:31

you just have to get the pivot right when you bring the seat round ,try to keep the bike going in a straight line, and push the bars towards the ground as you bring the seat up
then grab the tyre and let the bike move in front of you,try to keep your back as straight as possible,
if you practice this a lot you should have it in 3 weeks
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

ive been riding flat for 5 years and i just learnt 180 to rollback today on a mates street bike,so were all still leaning

Re: Flatland durability? posted on 2006-10-07 15:57:07

flat frames are made in the same process as street frames, but tend to have thinner dropouts,etc-
i would say most flat frames can with stand a bit of street riding-check james smith vid ,big 180s down a set of steps, long feeble grinds
180 icepick on myspace-alldone on a wtp div flatland frame,as iv broke my freecoaster im now park riding on a 2003 twenty revolution(alain massabova sig flat frame) and the frame is bomb proof
