yeah that's my thought pattern, i dislike the formatting issue. by the way did you's know the iriver 20 g the only iriver, that requires windows media player 10, the others don't just the 20g.

I heard of that back in the early 80's. Good idea, but if they took your bike and stripped it, all you you have claim to is the bars or frame. Unless you put it in every nook and crannie of your bike.
well the thing i saw was a matter of you got all these little tiy dots, it was off lie a sheet of 30 or something of that nature. and if your talking abou the paper idea, it helps a little as excess proof, but it's more useul in cases like you catch someone, and they start arguing it's there, and say others get involved.
someone on here mentioned something like this happening to them at one point in time.

yeah, but i don't really care, could be worse, atleast it's not some complete bullshit, like say someones bike(taking that much room), and thensome myspace banner to his account, on top of some of complete bullshit.
and hoza's what it say, i don't quite get grafiti, still i don't mind it, if it's something decent like that, not like some of the bullshit you see, like people just spraying, there signature or whatnot it is, i think it's called tagging?

this is a pretty stupi post, it vary's from hub to hub noticably, if you have one there measure your own up or use the code for replacement if you don't, then we can't help you then either.
Re: Finally willing to break down and get a cassette but one question posted on 2006-11-06 05:24:15
okwell there the fact that i ran to 1/8" thick sprockets and a 420 chain, and there was vey minimal, very snug fit.
ok but you say rear cog maybe thinner, ok il grab out my 2 spare 13t cogs, then i'll grab my spare left over link sitting here on my desk off the old 420 chain and sli it ove, and notice again, extreme minimal gap, say 5th of a mm.
shure the guys at staff may no what there doing, but in this case he asked us i gave him the information from my experience, staff may very well have a 3/32" thick 13t cog, which is what you would need to do it, just i havn't had any luck yet, coming across one.
So keep an eye out for a 3/32" thick 13t cassete cog, best looking for something from the racing scene. p.s. profile maybe, but i believe they have a largish taper that would spread the teeth between.

see my above post, it won't work with a regular 415
Re: removing grips posted on 2006-11-05 13:51:38
personaly i don't see a need with a half decent it usually not really a problem. 2 factor in particular i think may be particulary related to this. first the compunds i'm seeing today are alot softer and stickier, also the fact that barends are very common places, where as before a lot more people just had an eof a grip.
just my 2 cents.

screw the easterns there unsealed and there ganna break easy get the fit
first off, i had an 05 eastern, comparing that to the 05 fit, it seemed very much, like same manafacture, just slightly diff components, eg the easternhad unsealed cranks as opposed to sealed eastern was full cromo as oposed to front half only on the fit, very similair price tags to.
mine seemed quite good for me.
but thats 05
now the one sdv suggested has sealed cranks and hubs, if i understand correctly that there the wheels of the jane right?, and personally, sealed headsets are nearly a gimic, i'm findng theres minimal advantage there, but it may be sealed for all i know, as i believe that year they threw in spanish and inter(somethin) headtube.
Now i just had a squiz at dans the fit pro which is in his range at 370 front end cromo only or 599 for the trails full crmo, easterns shovelhead for 380 also trimo, but has the 25/9 on cassete hub, integrated headtube, and spanish. although i guess neither of those appeal to me, it seems they do to a large percent over certain others.
for 410 you could get this years element, full crmo frame and fork, intergrated spanish, 25/9 on cassete hub.

redlines suck ass fit never lets people down go for it hop to it skippy get an 07 when they come out
I will agree redlines shitty, but i know someone, who's now riding a redline after breakin his fit, and i know someone who went for a redline to replce his fit frame.
oki know thyis may seem like some big anti fit rant, which i guess it's turnin that way, anyway i've got nothing against fit, i guess theres a few reasons, one i'm getting a little annoyed with the constant flow of people saying get a fit and bullshit like that, anyway consider your actual options, sure forumns are good but, do a bit of research yourself, don't just take what everyones talking up at the time, mainly if they don't mention any othe brand with such a large market.
anyway just my little rant.

Re: Finally willing to break down and get a cassette but one question posted on 2006-11-04 15:50:46
hmm yeah maybee, but 2 problems i can think of.
Problem 1: A cog 1/8" and 1/8" thick equals 4/16" thick. not 3/16" thick wich is what the old 415s were, you could buy an old motorbike chain i did this, it has to be a 420 though. The average for bmx is a 410, next size up 415,( what you have), what you need to run the double cog is a 420. and it's a pretty tight fit as it is, i ran that arangement but in the sense of 2 front sprockets.
Second problem: I don't believe you could fit the cog, you would have to grind down the wide alloy spacer on it. ow you can't remove it, as then your chain will hit the spokes, you could posibly knock up some your self, or buy a bunch of thinner spacers, maybe 10.
