Haha, yeah I'm a solid Firefox user normally, just on a school computer, so I can't change it their, disliked explorer very much for a few years now.
Re: What happened? posted on 2007-07-31 20:02:59
Hey guys got a couple things to say, first I'm using the older explorer 6 i believe here at school, and confirming that the dropdown menus don't work on it either. Secondly I suspect the login problem may just be fixed, as I loginned to this school computer and was already logged in, I was under the impression they don't keep cookies or what not like other forums use, as no other site remember me, but this 1 has, and it's been a couple weeks, so it's quite stage, may i ask how your actually remembering logins and users?
Is it a different method to normal?

good to see, the spywares off here, Personally I agree I like the old style, and I didn't mind a few adds, But format, I'm willing to try out a new one, I understand you want something different and all.
It's just a matter of the Site admin, controlling what adds are setup, eg. What's the chance theres a few online mailorders you could ask for a banner offer, instead of the random bullshit you were getting before, including the spyware installing adds.
If you can be a bit more controlling over your adds I'll probably take you up on that pedal plus if you can do it by paypal.
I deal with so many freaken neglected computers that are cranks full of spyware to the point of stopping, as I gather many members here deal with also, I'm against sites using spyware installing banners and, hence I don't even have a myspace for that reason.
Anyway, hopefully I can comeback to nice spyware free site.
Re: help with mid bearings posted on 2007-07-10 19:50:16
Ok, yes you can I would suggest getting an open vice so the cups can rest on it well you tap the bearing out. Siton the vice, theres 2 methods you can use. Either get a large round piece of steel or something, well large enough that it will fit through the cup, a 19mm socket may be of use, If you can't find anything of the right diam either to small or to big, then just get a flat ended round punch sorta thing, maybe even the end on a cheap socket wrench, and tapped it out using that, keep moving it around I'd suggest.
Top, right, bottom, left, Top, right, bottom, left, Top, right, bottom, left and so on like that, tap it lightly, incresing the pressure until it starts to shift.
I see you've ditched the adds nick, good to see, I dispise spyware!

Re: newbie posted on 2007-03-22 22:32:28
yeah i suspect it can take a little light street I don't think i'd go thrashin it to hard but yeah. biggest issue i guess is the 10mm axle.
It's funny those gt compe would actually be a pretty decent beginner flat bike if you were to shorten the back(edited)end cranks and put a freecoaster on. I'd be looking at possibly using the forks off the compe on your dk actually as there quite minimal offset, less than i think the dk has, although i could be wrong but check it out. :edit:
Re: Justification for pricing? Have they really gone too far?! posted on 2007-03-22 07:26:27
Wouldn't have the cash to do that, neither would i be older enough, and wouldn't even have the room to do it from home. Neither am I old enough to sign a lease. Also because of our tax situation i suspect it'd still work out cheaper for the ones that just want absolute best bang for there buck to get it ordered still.
Last but not least probably not enough us riders to actually keep it afloat gather thats why it doesn't exist at this stage.
Re: Justification for pricing? Have they really gone too far?! posted on 2007-03-18 04:40:25
no not all bikes, we get most street park etc, but try and get flat parts, we get some, but we still have to order a large portion from the us, because we do NOT have half the stuff distributed.
and my knowledge is from what I've seen.
hers a link to a popular online aus store. those are some aftermarket bmx frame prices.
link
hers another
link
and another
link
Hey dude find me a store that can get say get quamen in Australia and i might believe you about us having full range, we get a large portion from from the states for this reason.
p.s. here's a currency converter by the way

Re: Justification for pricing? Have they really gone too far?! posted on 2007-03-15 02:48:10
haha, this thread slightly amuses me, the way your saying 350s ridiculous , when thats like 450 ausd, I wish frames were all that cheap over here, look at just about any aftermarket brandname bmx frame over here, and full retail, starts like 500, and that doesn't necessarily guarantee us made or anything of that nature either.
I guess thats why so many of us get it sent over from the states.
but even just to get just about any flat stuff just isn't stocked over here.
maybe you should be thankful to even get what you want half the time your not paying through the ass in shipping atleast, yet even for us after the shipping it still works out cheaper most the time as opposed to buying local.
just my rant, i cut it down a little but yeah.

Re: PHOTOGRAPHERS posted on 2007-03-05 01:25:31
hey dude was their a need to post this about 4 times?
secondly, think of it this heyy, these things occur to you as something you want an opinion on right?
Well shore polling opinions is great and all, but that'll only get a small percentage of riders, if you find everyone that replies, shore know problem, but then you go to the park and you don't ask and photograph someone, that could piss them off, and you could get in shit.
Seriously just my opinion but, always ask, always play it on the safe side, I guess say in contest's it's a little different, but none the less, if your gonna be doing anything with the photos it'd be if you did let them know.
personally, I've never quite got the people that love photography and shit, but that's me.

Re: No more dirt jump contest in X Games-WHAT!? posted on 2007-03-01 22:11:21
yeah, x games is just a money making excersize, not a bmx comp, the "bmx comp" things like a hook. doesn't really matter, probably was decided on a bunch of statistics.
first flat now dirt, don't worry about it.
