Here's what I'm thinkin. TJ isn't a small guy (I'm not saying "fat" but just a big guy). If someone that size is practicing pedal hang 5's, pedal steams, or anything gliding on the pedal you're going to put all the leverage on the head tube area. Now, if your frame doesnt have any kind of gusset support such as this one, and you're not a little guy, then eventually it will finally weaken. For example, get a clotheshanger, bent it once, then a couple of days later bend it a couple of more times.. Eventually it will have no choice but snap. It's the same thing but at a little bit larger scale.

Yea, it's a "Rotor" knock off. The Rotor was by ACS. they came out with one later with bearings and you would have to set your stem soo high they designed the 45 stem. It angled down 45 degrees since you had to set your stem soo high due to the sleave of the Rotor.

A guy nobody has ever heard of, Dale Cooper, invents a little machined aluminum thing that attaches to your stem and allows for tangle free rearbrakes.
ACS markets this as THE ROTOR.
