man, who cares what people wear when they ride? does it really matter? you must be still in the "highschool" mode and judge people for what they wear. grow up man and ride. when i go out and ride w/ my friends or watch a vid, thats the last freakin thing on my mind on what they are wearing. the first thing on my mind is, "man, did you see that?" not, "dude there is a plethera of people wearing white shoes" where can i get me a pair so i can "fit" in? these threads are the dumbest i have ever read.

you should try and put a brake on that thing. you would be amazed on what you can do on it with brakes. i thought about making one w/ dual brakes just to mess around on. i made a few (unbikes/squeek scoots) back in the 80's. actually it helped me w/ forward rolling tricks.

I have a set of chrome GT 3 piece cranks if anyone is interested. I got them around '96 or so and only rode flatland with them. The only thing is that my gf at the time ordered them and she got the 183mm ones. So, if youre interested, let me know.
Peace

"freestyle" is the word that originated all trick riding. no matter if it was ramps, dirt, ditches, or flatland. for all you kids the word "freestyle" means ride the style that you want. you have youre own free-style.

probably not much. they flex really bad and warp easily. if the coaster is a Suntour, take it off and lace it with metal rims and make it a freecoaster.
Gyro or straight cable? posted on 2005-10-26 23:47:33
save some weight? man, i run a gyro GTX (which weighs nothing) with split bottom cables and i think it works as good or better than a straight cable. if the weight of an extra cable or two is a problem, then man, i think you have a problem. put down your purse and ride.
