Yea, those are my old Perigrine Superpro 48's. I think I've had them for about 10 years. They've been re-laced about 3 times.

New Trivia Question? posted on 2006-01-25 23:33:10

I had one of those team models in 87. At the time I was riding a Schwinn Predator and this dude I rode with told me his dad could get one of these for $100 brand new. Well, come to find out, his dad worked at Hans Johnson (bike wholesale) and if there were any damaged bike boxes they were told to chunk em in the trash. So, what did he do? You guessed it, he started poking big holes in boxes and throwing them in the dumpster. Later that night, he would come back and "stock up". I gave em $80 for a brand new 1987 Gt Profreestyle Tour Team model still in the box. I rode it for aw year or so until it got stolen. Oh well, I got my $80 worth.

I saw Ruben in 1985 or 1986 in Austin riding in a show with his brother Robert. It was the 4th of July and Ruben was riding a 16" bike. You think he was little now, you should've seen him then. I was informed a couple of years ago that Mat Hoffman was in that show too. I did'nt know who he was back then. Oh yea, the guy that got me started riding flat was there too, Robert Saucedo.
