Re: Stenciling! Woohoo! posted on 2006-10-03 13:31:28
heres a good tip for stencilers-
find a place that has a cardboard dumpster. most places will be glad that your taking cardboard of the dumpster also. its less they haveta call a service to come and empty it in fact they may even set some aside for you if come alot. just don't tell them what your up to. and it save you and place of buisness alot of money.
also learn what matrix printing is, that is probably how mensoong (sp? to lazy to go back and check). matrix printing isn't done on all printers, but most of them do. but it prints a huge picture in tiles, so after it's done printing you can recompose it. onto whatever you want. get the point?
also whatglue is great to hold you stencils against whatever you are spraying, to stop aerosol pushing the back of the paper/board and making runny or fading edges. what glue is made out of 3 parts whole grain wheat flower and 2 parts water, stir it a shit ton and make sure there is no lumps. heat it to a boil and when it thickens add a little bit for water. and put on low heat for abotu 30 minutes and stir it alot. keep the product in a sealed container. when you are ready brush the back of your stencil and put it against the wall. wheatglue also is good wallpaper adhesive its very strong and alot (a whole lot) cheaper than buying it at a store, or getting those expensive cans of spray adhesive. the downside is that you may haveta leave your stencil behind cause it may get torn when taking it down so dont have high hopes of doing this with a stencil you plan on reusing if its a flimsy material
one more thing, goto an art store and buy a canvas tube to hold your stencils in. get one kinda wide so you roll up your stencil/stencils and also high enuff so you can drop in a water bottle/small tupperware full of wheatpaste and your paint (stacked of course). so that when you get you spot you can dump out the tube, paste up stencil, paint, take down. drop your stuff back into the tube ride away. its easy to make look discreet if you dont plan on carrying alot of paints. the taller it is, the harder to hide or carry.
all of this is said from experience. sorry if this is already explained on some websites i didn't look at them. if all of this is a bad idea or already known to you i don't care. but if you have better thoughts lemme hear em, or at least postive criticism.

Re: USA school shooting posted on 2006-10-02 13:35:30
most people I know are desensitized by school shootings. its just something you hear about 2-3 times a year on national news. but it happens alot more than that, most of the time shootings don't make it past local news. it really depends on how much the parents trie to blame someone else, is how much coverage it will get on the news.

I tried ot lie at first but she was gonna like arrest me if i did. but w/e i gotta go to this middle schoool for this alternative suspension program so i can turn in my work and not get zeros. We can basically do w/e we want. I just hope i dont have to pay to replace the stalls. the new dumbass principal got mad because i had a higher gpa then him. I use a marks a lot marker and its cleanable so they better not fuckin make me pay, because it can come off. fuckin a

why didnt you just keep your mouth shut. the principal would only know what you tell him/her? you should've at least offer to clean it off if your'e so sorry/worried about. this is why i never talk about i did or didn't tag

i need a new frame now cuz of my f***ing bb. euro sucks im never getting it again!
did anyone else ever get your euro bb stripped in there?
[/quote]
learn to put in a euro bb yourself instead of a shop. every euro crank ive had outlasted an american bb and i was taught how to install them from this msg board in one paragraph.
heres an even better idea tell the shop they suck, especailly if you paid for it to being installed. it shoudve been installed correctly. if they say riding bmx breaks alot of parts. tell them you only ride it back and forth from school/work.
or try calling/email the company of the frame if for some really stupid and unique reason it isnt the shops fault.
