Yeah, but some arsehole spamed it and I'm too busy right now to revert to the old (correct) versions.

I wish the admin would fix the registration and block unregistered users from editing. It's sad to see honest work go down the drain because of some money-hungry idiot or some clueless 12-year old who think it's cool to replace legit content with hormone-driven rambling.

Why do flatters break so much stuff? posted on 2005-09-15 09:11:24
And its an addiction once you start doing it you keep doing it.I stopped though haha but I went through parts doing it
Not true. I usually kick and throw my regular (non-bmx) bike when it fails for no good reason. But I never laid a hand on my flatland ride. Man these things are too expensive to beat up.

Ooops, I did not read pwh4130's post before writing mine...

Another factor might be the frequency of use. A lot of flatlanders spend hours upon hours everyday, practicing the same trick over and over, thus using the same part.

Gaaaah! Not yet-another-BB-variation... Good if it's back to the american model. I wish my equilibrium had it.

Trick of the Month for September posted on 2005-09-12 10:50:45

I tried to simply pedal cross-footed and could not manage it. The top tube is in the way. Perhaps with a Darwin or KGB frame. Or rotating the body slightly in one direction, say, a quarter-turn to the right.

Cross-footed wheelie, anyone?

Oh, I know:

The seat stay / chainstay on only one side. You cut the backend weight in half!

Just a quick question before this topic gets locked... Not taking any side here, I've left customer service behind for a good reason...

Now, as I remember, TJ already stated he would not buy any KGB products EVER. Now Quamen. Who else is on his blacklist?

'Cause y'know, flatland is a small industry and he'll be soon running out of rider-focused companies...
The most underrated rider of our time Simon Obrien vs the most underrated rider of all time Ross Smith
Simon *did* win a gold the last time they had flatland at the x-gaymes. He could have gotten way more coverage if flatland as a whole got more coverage...

what is the name of this trick posted on 2005-08-18 11:07:49

You might want to check out the Pedal Wiki. They list is smaller than the one you have, but most of them have descriptions, sometimes even a how-to.

Feel free to add to it.

Harsh... Although the front half of the frame has too many pieces for my tastes, I like the back part.
