I compare it with ballet (on a bike) and I still think b-boying and flatland have a lot in common. The biggest 2 differenes are:

We have to use a bike, they don't.
We normally don't choreograve (or whatever the english word is) our moves to the beats, they mostly do.

Re: Am I missing something ? posted on 2006-10-03 11:16:17

we're just like breakdancers, but than we're just a little better

they gain control over their bodies

we gain control ofver our bodys and our bikes at the same time.

Hiphop is not everyone's favorite music. But it is of an estimated 85% of all flatlanders.

Should be clear enough

ain that a bitch, just posted the previous post, and now 1 minute later there's bmx in a sportlife commercial. It wasn't flatland though.

Re: How many times do you watch a DVD. posted on 2006-10-03 10:46:57

like 3 times

I still got a VHS of flatland manifesto 5, I don't have a VCR anymore, but I played that one thousands of times.

Re: Flatland Commercials posted on 2006-10-03 10:45:54

There's a new dutch urban movie here in Holland and there's some dude doing a timemachine in there. the weirdest thing is: I don't know who it is even though I think I know all the riders in our country, it aint that big you know.

besides that I have never seen flatland in commercials. I did see it in music video's and reports/intervieuws on tv.

Re: What brand of parts dominates on your bike? posted on 2006-10-01 21:54:50

no domination

dragonfly fork, bars, front rim and grips
ody tires, bb and crank
kgb frame and pegs

so DF WOULD BE the dominatress. but without the rest it would do nothing.

jajajajaja heelm vet enzo, genoeg van dat gezeik, ik wil weten wie er wint !

bmx flatland can be best explained as: posted on 2006-09-29 06:14:35

breakdance on a bike?

ballet on a bike?

a phisical artform?

Iceskating on a bike?

what do you think is the best way to describe flatland for an outsider

but is there a frame thats 19.2 thats usa bb on flatlandfuel?
sorry, there are no longer any new frames made with USA BB. If you upgrade frames you are going to have to upgrade BBs (and upgrade to 3 pc cranks if you are still running 1 pc cranks).
Allthough I ride 3pc for 3 years now I still think it's not a good thing to stop producing US BB for new frames. A lot of beginners want to upgrade their frames but just cant beause of the high extra costs for the crank and bb.
