1 footers posted on 2005-01-04 12:09:45

every time i try a 1 footer i might as well do a no-footer because my foot is just barly touching the pedal so it doesnt go down. well is that suppose to happen? when you do 1-footers your crank should move? because your foot is pushing down? if so i hate it because it feels awkward
need some advice haha thx

fingers are sore, and hurt when riding posted on 2005-01-04 12:05:51

when i raced MX i got like an arm-pump and hand pump thing. like i flexed so hard that they stayed flxed and stayed in that position. same with my hands.

i think your getting like a finger pump or something :? .

why people dont like trails? posted on 2005-01-03 16:17:42

i have my new bike and all i can to is hop snow banks , try and crank stall on solid snow . jump little tire marks in the road. its pethetic!. well sense im getting home schooled im going to rye on a weekday where there are less people to laugh at me  im always skechy infront of people.

either that or we get alot of packable snow so i can build a huge jump. then lay rugs over it so i can get traction.

i was browsing through here and i thought id let you guys know why alot of your pictures arent working

Ok, for those of you who don't know how to post pictures, here ya go:

1) First, get yourself signed up to Photobucket
2) Take whatever pictures you want, and upload them to Photobucket
3) After the pictures have been uploaded, under the pictures there are 3 boxes with URL's in them. Find the box that has "Img" to the left of it (It's the last box). Then highlight the URL that it gives you. Here is a picture:

4)Then, copy and paste that into the post that you are making, and you're done!

Please try not to use Imagestation, a lot of times the images are "Temporarily unavailable" for a long time. Hope this helps!

Make sure you use jpg not bmp . The old pedal allowed bmp but now all pictures have to be in jpg.
hopefully this gets a sticky so it doesnt have to be brought up again :)

gear ratio for trails posted on 2005-01-03 06:24:47

39-14. its comfortable , it can get you cruisin' and it has good take off , pretty easy to pedal out of a dead stop. most trail bikes have this gearing right out of the shop because it fits the average rider.

Personal prefrence though. Do what feels comfortable to you. :o

tabletops. posted on 2005-01-03 06:20:33

i cant really do them but what i heard is pull (which ever side / arm) your arm into your arm-pit and push the other one down , then just like push down with your bottom leg (the leg thats on the bottom side) and bring your top leg up so its not working against you.
