I Love the raw look.

on the bottom tube, where that angle is.. it's not too thin?

Re: fitting rooms posted on 2006-09-02 06:52:51

real men don't try on clothes before they purchase them.

jk  :-P

really though.. why so picky?

I know my size, and what I like.. I just go get it and leave.  I hate dealing with dressing rooms... I always feel like I'm being watched.

All of the 1.75s in stock now are the newer version with the Turqoise logo.

Re: Premium VS Frequency G posted on 2006-09-01 12:59:56

sounds like I should stick with the freq g's

does pat have the newer batch in?  It's nice to know they're even still improving things after having such a good run on the first try.

Maybe I should find a smoother spot for lunches...  My spot isn't rough or anything. Just regular cement.  But that can be very grippy.

Re: Premium VS Frequency G posted on 2006-09-01 12:28:41

thanks, i've seen threads about tire life... but I really wanted to concentrate on comparing just these two.

Would love to hear from people who have tried both.

thanks again.  I'll prob just order a few freq g's next time

When running 1.75's, which tire has the longer lifespan.

I wouldn't mind the lighter weight of the premium.. but I don't really wannt fork up twice as much if it's only gonna last 1/2 as long too.  I hate wearing down my back tire so fast.  I'm hoping once i get more dialed @ spinning, the wear rate will slow down.

Please don't move this to tech session.
Flatlanders will have more experience in using these specific tires/sizes!

I agree with you!
Also, when people ask to try my bike and realize I dont have brakes.  The look I get from them is priceless.

haha my dad did that the last time I saw him.
I think every time a random person gets on my bike that happens.  It's sooo funny just watching their eyes pop open so wide.  :o

edit:  and I really wouldn't mind if it got popular.  That would just mean more people to ride with. :P

sketched this out last night.
It's a closeup of what I've done so far towards the sickchild contest.  Still have a lot more to to.  This will basically be on the top right corner of the image, or on your left shoulder/chest if wearing the shirt.  More desigining will flow down from here to pete, with some stuff here and there along the route.

you'll seeeee  :P

Re: Todays Riding posted on 2006-08-31 07:35:13

you can roll tricks all day in the rain.

Rainy sessions are perfect excuses to concentrate on balancing rolling tricks, with minimum foot to tire contact. :P

Re: how long do ya session for? posted on 2006-08-30 07:45:46

Tues-Sat, I ride from 11:45 to 12:15.

Sundays, I usually try to find some time to get in anywhere between 1-3 hours of riding.  Unfortunately this sunday I will be down @ the lake for holiday weekend so no riding.  :(

I Usually just spend mondays with my son while his mom is in school or internship/yadda yadda

not fiction

but still some writing :P

TITLE:  Prove Me Wrong

Advanced Bodies Absorbing Advanced Minds..
Still in a crippled state of mind.

Why has the majority chosen to do so little with their gift?

Blindly, yet faithfully following a system of duplication...
trimming power,  leaving evolution up to another kind.

Even the genius with the perfect inventions...
will selfishly..
and ignorantly....
sit and wait for the so called "right time"..
to release creations from their mind.

I fear their reasoning may be intimidation.
Knowing that if releasing creation right now,
they would be forced.

Forced to come up with something bigger..
Something better...

Maybe it's the hesitation of their capabilities.

So as accustomed...
they simultaneously sit and wait...

While people below travel, work, pray, and patiently anticipate,
never even acknowledging their own existence...

Always shading themselves from their own reason of being.

And so words are said:

Be polite, and celebrate your date of birth..
because it's the "right thing to do".
Because your family will always love you..
even if you've always stumbled around numbly
doing nothing for our earth.

Besides..Who should care about mankind?

Humans...
expecting for thousands of years..

Although that someone else of another kind..
is still..
yet to arrive.

Why

Because you're not smart enough to care.

Too ignorant to create..

RIGHT NOW,

........................................prove me wrong

Enjoy

have you ever seen a full Cirque du Soleil  performance? they dont play.  It's all on and no screw ups.  He must be 100% consistant to be cirque. Every show is different.  It's over the top entertainment and cutting edge performance.  If you have a chance to see any cirque show, i'd recommend doing it.

was still pretty sunny and hot after you get going.. but so nice compared to how it's been lately.

I was the only one working on it, so I had to contort the rider with one hand, and snap the frame with the other. Sometimes having my hand in the frame was unavoidable, and taking more frames would have just been a pain in the ass. It's around 350 frames.

haha that was great
