lol, no but I know where you're talking about and always wanted to go check that place out haha
it's a garage over by my work. I don't remember the name of the street, but it's one light north of the campbell/collins exit off 75 (on the east side), in Richardson.
Like I said in the spots thread though, I only ride there on saturdays if it's raining.
Any other day I always end up getting the boot.

theif your bike is gorgeous
my bike is actually far from clean and poorly maintained.. but it gets the job done.
It's a parking garage of 75
and i love my hiros oui. oddy is great but i wanted hiros forever and even though I've had them for a while i still smile @ the fact i was finally able to get some

ahh the triangle building!
i think i have been there a few times.. just "hangin out" with friends
back behind it is a wooden area with a creek.
There used to be this huge ass tree that grew right on the eddge of the creek, with the roots all exposed, etc. And it basically grew out almost completely horizontal, hanging over the water.
I think it finally eventually fell over about a yr ago or maybe not quite that long.
I completly forgot about that place.
there was also another cool tree near the front of that building that was cool
In the winter, when all the leaves were off, if you looked through the branches towards the moon, the light would reflect off all the branches and it just looked like 1 huge ball of light. Ahh hard to explain.. but that place is really cool. Had some fun times there (if it is indeeeeed the same place)

successfully rode out of a steam for the very first and only time today
I know it's miniscule, but I am now excited/motivated
It's nice to gain comfort up on the front wheel

This is the entrance to my normal lunchbreak riding spot. I don't usually ride on this end, but this shot combined with the other will help give a sense of how freakin HUGE the lot is.

and this is the same spot, from the other end. You see the entrance down there?

the same lot again, my fav lil section of the lot for some reason

If I get to work early enough on saturdays, I ride in this section of our parking lot until it's time to go in.

On saturday afternoons, during our last break, I usually ride for 15 min in this section of our parking lot bc this the only day our lot is empty

Aaaaaand on saturdays, if it is raining for any reason and I am unable to ride in my normal lunch break spot, I will hide out and ride in this lot during my lunch breaks. But can only ride here on sats when no one is around. Any other days, I always end up getting kicked out.

a new spot i found a couple of months ago. Sucks, last time I was there I got booted. I love this place though. & it's awesome bc it's within riding distance!

Same spot from other end. Yes, its 4 courts wide :o Just on the other side of the side fence is another 4 courts :o

Re: What's the best pants for riding ? posted on 2006-11-08 12:34:33
same here
i like dickies, as they are nice and warm in the winter and thick enough to provide a decent amount of protection. + they are tough as hell :P
in the summer I just go with shorts or maybe wind suit-pants type stuff.. really thin material
all in all though.. it doesn't really matter, as long as they're not so wide they're getting stuck in the wheel/chain
I don't know how people ride in tight pants
that's got to cause major chafing/ball shrinkage from suffocation

I'm not trying to offend any homosexuals out there.
But this thread is really really really GAY
Who posts a thread to hold a spot for a video of someone else pulling a trick that you don't even think they can even really do? I mean really... Considering who posted it, i know it's not even really necessary, but you seiously might as well label yourself a jackass.

i prefer having someone there to push me further.
+ it's just fun to watch other people pull crazy shit!
unfortunatly, the majority of my riding is alone.
Re: New Video posted on 2006-10-25 12:41:24

no worries, sorry for missunderstanding.
I get what your saying about we all have our own personal perspective.
even though i may not like the responces that i get, or i may misunderstand them, I still appreciate the interaction. It's nice hearing what other people think, so I can further develope my own point of view. ;)
so thanks for the replys
even to you people who say were hopeless

icastel, I'm not looking @ things with myself in the center.
But yet looking @ things with myself as part of/one with everything else.
which leads to my argument about the next two posts, that nothing ever matters in the world ever.
Everything in the world matters. If you truely believed the opposite, why are you still taking that breath?
simple example of a minute action being an important occurance.
Years ago, i was rushing in the morning, trying to get ready for school or work or something... runing late.
Just as I was about to head out, my cat darts out of the bathroom directly across my path, causing me to look where she came from and notice the pants i was wearing the night before laying crumpled on the bathroom floor. Then I realized i had left my wallet in the back of those pants and retrieved it.
If the cat wouldn't have decided to run out of the bathroom at that exact moment, i would have forgotten my wallet and not had any money for lunch, gas, etc.
everything matters and has a rippling effect on all that surrounds it.
to say nothing matters in the world is just quitting on life, and the ability to improve.
Using the lame statement is just an excuse to be lazy.
People should not be such downers. It only encourages decay
We Should not quit so easily.
We Should not tire so fast.
and we Should not depend on others (esp our governement) to provide us with what's necessary to fully enjoy life.
WHY are so many people unable to recognize the great value in their own capabilites?
Or even if they are able, like you two, you just choose to be stubborn and ignore them, pretending that you and the world you live in the world is uselss.
haha
argh mindsets like yours are everywhere
and it really gets to me, eats my insides, makes me feel sick to the stomache with despair for us as mankind.

Re: beginner back wheel trick posted on 2006-10-17 12:24:21
dork wheelie variations
forwards, backwards, upsidedown, right side up haha
It's easier for me to do them backwards than forwards, as you can scuff/kick for momentum when needed.
