awesome! I've been wondering when something like this would be reasonably available :)
Do you know if they will work with a psp?

look at my gallery @ www.gensanity.deviantart.com
I have a couple of digitally drawn flatland images that would make neat backgrounds :P

Re: Rainy Sessions posted on 2006-12-30 10:30:25
yeah i don't usually look to go riding in the rain either.
Normally when I'm at work and I look outside, if it's raining I will cringe and stay inside.
But I had to stop by the bank yesterday on my break anyways. After that I stopped by mcdonalds, and while I was eating my quarterpounder in the parking lot, I noticed that even though it was raining, there weren't too many drops on the windshield. So I headed over to my normal lot, and sure enough, the only thing that really got wet were my tires and my pant legs. Was about 60 degrees out so not too cold at all. It's about the same today but no rain.

I love them.
Not when it's pouring.. but just a light rain.
Can't do as much spinning/scuffing but it really makes you focus in on simply rolling and balancing tricks.
These sessions always seem very relaxing to me.

Re: How fast do you go though tires? posted on 2006-12-20 10:48:05
usually, they are completely useless by then and near exploding, with spots of the threads showing through here and there from where small air bubbles in the rubber have popped.
Front tire usually lasts a little longer but I go through back tires quickly, and since I usually order them in pairs, if one of the ones I'm replacing (usually the front) isn't completely useless yet, i will throw it in the closet and save it for when needed. It's not like i have a bunch of tires piling up though.. Actually, i think I only have 3 now, 2 on the bike and 1 used one in the closet. Will prob order some more after christmas if I get any $$.
This is what my back tire usually ends up looking like after 2 months

i don't know if its the pc or browser i'm using now, but the Front Forum page looks much better/organized., as well as the list of posts..
but when you're viewing the actual threads, there is too much typing all across the screen, and then when your replying this "body" box is to narrow. Should be wider.
And if possible, like others said, color would help too.. but like i said i don't know if you made the changes or if it's becuase I'm on a different pc/browser, but the layout on the front stuff looks better now :)
Re: where is everybody? posted on 2006-12-02 09:24:15
take your time
you're the experienced one in this. What you've done in the past seemed to work well, so I'm sure you will come through again, using whatever resources you have.
But really, don't rush anything.
Maybe try testing a few different layout variations your self before updating the changes. Experiment a little :P

I was wondering the same thing.
I still come in maybe once or twice a day to see if any posts have been added/etc.. but nothign usually ever is.
Very discouraging.
critique. When I look at the site, i don't feel like I'm at a website.
I feel like i'm looking at a piece of paper with typing on it. Not literally. But you get the point
It's just a white screen with typing sprawled out over across the entire page. and then other smaller options randomly placed here and there, that don't seem to be organized well.
yes, it gets the job done. But it beins to make interacting with other riders online a chore for the eyes and a stress on the mind.
I don't know what all changes you may have planned. But I suggess simply considering doing what you can to make the site more enjoyable to view, look at.
either way I'll still be here wandering around though.. just a suggestion.

Just push the bead over in smaller sections at a time.
like in your pic, where it shows l ever in, leaving that lever there, put another on in, only 1, maybe 2 inches next to it and push over that section.
The more space inbetween the levers the harder it is.
plastic levers suck tho

yeah most of my orders get here within 2 days from ordering too. I was suprised to find that the last order I made actually took about 4 days to arrive. I think this was because of veterans day or something

Re: Comet tires for flat posted on 2006-11-21 08:12:56
I've been running a 1.75 comet in the front for about a week now and I like it. I can't get over the vibrations from the tread though. They do roll very nicely, and when scuffing, the grip very good, much better than the freq G's. But Whenever I'm doing some semi wide circles, it reeeeaallly feels weird. Maybe it's bc I run them @ 130 psi.. but It feels like i cal literally feel every single tiny little tread. Although I'm rolling with with plenty of momentum, the tire literally feels fuzzy. I like the Hard smooth roll of the freq g better when spinning/rolling in circles... but the comets do have much better grip when scuffing. so for now I think i will stick with 1.50 comet in front and 1.75 freq g in back Has anyone else noticed that feeling about the tread? it almost tickles...
