i like you AZflatlander, but when you argue, you always end every paragraph with something in all caps like "SO SUCK MY DICK" or "so FUCK ALL OF YOU ASSHOLES" like youre trying so hard. if youre right, your opinion and arguement should prove that alone without trying so hard to yell at people over a message board. but its all flatland love.

i love duncan park. but was also entertained by what i read from iheartdavemirra. i hope no one hates me, i try so hard to please everyone...

am i about to get ripped off? posted on 2006-07-19 14:09:22

ok my wheelset is crap and needs to be relaced with new spokes(+nipples). ive built wheels before but i dont like the way they turn out. they just arent as nice as when they are built by an expert. so i want my shop, the one i used to work at, to do it. but they charge $30 per wheel plus $1 per spoke. so that is $132 not including tax for them to do it. or i can order spokes at $58 from FF (dt black) which saves some money, bringing the approx total to $118. but i worry that, even though im making an order anyway, there wont be enough time to get the wheels done before nyc jam.

or i just thought of this, i could get the spokes, lace the wheels. but just not tighten them like at all, just enough to set the wheels up, then pay for a "true" instead of a lace.

its just damn, 30 a wheel to do something i COULD do, just not well...

Re: Neon Media Presents "Create" posted on 2006-07-16 10:57:46

i was just tryin to think of a quick example. do you get what i was trying to say?

Re: Neon Media Presents "Create" posted on 2006-07-16 10:35:30

well maybe "new shit" and "new tricks" are different. i can see what you mean about what people do as a variant of older stuff. but i still consider people having new stuff when i see them. lets say you do a halfpacker and grab the bar behind you and do a 360 barflip and land back in a halfpacker and keep going. halfpacker barflips arent a new trick. but is what i described a new trick? it would definately ne new...

Re: any advice to quit drinking? posted on 2006-07-16 09:22:06

I 100% agree with that you can't be around it. its not like you dont like drinking, you just want to stop. so avoid it man. youll be happy you did once youve stopped or cut down if thats what you really want. only you control what you do.

Re: 2 new links posted on 2006-07-16 07:52:56

i wasnt sayin you do to many steamrollers. :-) in fact, do more, please.

and actually i have a bunch of spinning tricks now. the last riding that was filmed of me is that Dave3 video on bikeflat and my myspace(if its still there, bikeflat is down?) but i had spinning then too, just nothing to land. that was filmed a long ass time ago haha. i spin now. i want to get some new footage online but just for fun, im in no rush.

ride that one day a week as if your life depended on it! or at least your sanity

and thanks for complimenting my bike, yours is quite the looker as well

when ron baker, james kennedy, and I went to canada for ham jam, we were lost, so we were in and out of the van askin directions every 5 mins(thats the only reason i didnt have a seatbelt, i ALWAYS wear one otherwise). well we get pulled over for not wearing them, and all got seatbelt tickets. even me and i was in the middle seat! well it was 110 canadian which was like 72 american at the time, and since i couldnt go back to court in canada, i had to pay it. they didnt pay theirs though, and nothing ever happened. i wish i didnt pay mine. but that situation is a bit different, i just wanted to share. i know it sucks but who wants a warrant for them somewhere...

Re: 2 new links posted on 2006-07-16 07:28:29

dude nice tricks. dont worry about what people say, wah wah wah too many steamrollers haha. they are fun as hell to do and look good. its either spinning or rolling... im very jealous of the turbines with no kicks. i dream of that stuff. keep it up man. will you be able to ride in the army? i assume no? how long do you have to serve? whats your plan?

Re: Some new pics posted on 2006-07-16 07:24:14

me too. and i love tennis court over anything, but thats cuz thats what my home spot is. and jesse, looks nice there, i doubt id make it up to ride though, unless it was this coming weekend, and i dunno. nice pics, and lovely spot,

Re: Neon Media Presents "Create" posted on 2006-07-16 07:16:11

thats a pretty bleak and depressing way to look at flatland though... i say there are new tricks all the time. of course all the "basic positions" have been done but people still do new shit all the time. thats why i dont often watch older videos except for nostalgia...i like to see new tricks and peoples new shit.

srry to speak so bad about them but i wasnt the one who brought up they were good, so you wanted some kind of arguement. and i pointed it out for ya.
[/quote]
i didnt want some type of arguement. although i didnt in any way expect everyone to agree, thats not why i posted lol, i posted cuz i like em! join me! and checking back, i posted cuz one should get the new album if one likes em.
