its not an estimate, its a fixed rate. 30 a wheel. they know me and know my knowledge and all that. like i said, i used to work there. they are cool too. they just gotta charge what they gotta charge i guess. i dont want to pay it though.

ive built wheels in the past and they just dont come out as solid as they do from a good shop. youre supposed to tighten each nipple the same, etc, but it never works out like that. i just want them solidly built. and yeah i always have a tad of hop or some shit. and i hate feeling like im stripping out my nipples.

i put a bit of a deadline on myself by wanting the new shit by nyc jam. so im gonna wait till after. maybe send the hubs and rims out to be done somewhere else. but then theres shipping costs. fuck i guess a wheel is an expensive thing unless you do it yourself.
